Athens is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Athens follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

When I say you need to go here, well I HIGHLY recommend BUSdown mobile kutz. You will have to call for an appointment. Even though you get your haircut in a bus, big T has an AMAZING setup. He gave me a fade, and let’s just say it was the BEST fade I’ve ever had. He always finds a way to have a good conversation while showing you stuff on his TV!!!

Great service! Called last minute while traveling out of town on business, and BUSdown Barber came to the rescue. Great conversation on travel, food, sports and current events. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for a professional barber in Athens, GA.

I came across this business and wanted to show some support, so I called to ask a few simple questions about my hair and the haircut I was considering. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The man who answered was extremely rude and told me he “doesn’t answer questions because that’s what he gets paid to do.” I completely understand that consultations aren’t free, and I would have gladly paid for one if that had been explained. However, the way it was handled came off as disrespectful and unprofessional. It’s unfortunate, because I had even promoted this business before ever visiting—just to be supportive. Everyone has bad days, but there’s no excuse for treating potential customers poorly. If you expect payment for consultations, that’s perfectly fine—just communicate that clearly instead of being rude about it. Based on my experience, I won’t be returning or recommending this place. You’d honestly get better treatment at a chain salon like Great Clips.
