In South Jordan, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. South Jordan is in Utah, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Utah's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.
