Getting around Brownsville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

If you are a responsible pet owner, avoid this place at all costs. This clinic is overpriced for what you get. Even the $5 consultation fee is not worth it given the quality of care. The veterinarian was 30 minutes late, and the receptionist was too busy scrolling Instagram to mention it. The vet tech who saw my pet was young, his speech was slurred, his eyes were squinted and red, he looked disheveled, and he was confused throughout every interaction. He could not answer basic questions or follow the conversation. He told me he would take my pet to the back for the "consultation" with the doctor, without me present. When I asked why, he said the doctor prefers owners stay out because pets get more anxious with them there. That is false, and a simple search confirms it: pets are generally calmer with their owners present during exams. I suspect the real reason is different: with no owner in the room, the doctor doesn't have to actually do anything. The scale they used was rusty and inaccurate. The thermometer was a CVS brand model with a single button, and the same tech who seemed impaired struggled to even hold it steady and press that one button. After several minutes of fumbli

Rude, inhumane staff. Lack of compassion and seriousness and basic level respect. Would give half a star if I could. Go literally anywhere else in the valley. Doctor seems to only care about money, has a bizarre eager demeanor to perform certain tests I am certain are not needed, staff is just as tacky and condescending. Disgusting place

I had a very disappointing experience at this vet office. The veterinarian was extremely unfocused and spent most of the appointment mumbling about unrelated topics instead of giving clear, professional answers about my dog’s rash. He never gave any real diagnosis, instructions, or a clear treatment plan. What was especially frustrating is that instead of explaining how to properly treat what appeared to be ringworm or offering practical guidance to help my dog, he kept trying to push an expensive heartworm preventive costing over $2,000. It felt more like a sales pitch than a medical visit. He also went off on multiple tangents that had nothing to do with my dog’s overall health or the reason we were there. The lack of clear communication, professionalism, and concern for my dog’s actual condition made the visit feel like a waste of time and money. I left without answers, instructions, or confidence in the care provided. I would not recommend this office if you’re looking for clear guidance, focused attention, or professional veterinary care.

Took my dog in for a gash on his leg caused by a sharp object outside. Staff was polite and everything seemed normal. They took my dog in for evaluation from the Dr. When he came back he told us that our dog had cut an artery and he has to open him up some more suture the vein and close the wound back up. He then exited the room again and one of the ladies came back with a long list of procedures totalling over $900! At this point I am in disbelief I am no vet but I was more than certain all he needed was some stitching. I refused the treatment and headed to another vet in Brownsville. Was charged $90 for a few stitches and some medication to prevent infection. I am beyond upset that this practice was most certainly trying to rip me off. The Dr had this eager demeanor to get this procedure done. He really wanted that bonus money I suppose. This place has no respect no morals and no class. Dr is a con a scammer and a thief. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE! I DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR. THE FACT HE WANTED TO OPEN UP MY DOGS WOUND TO DO WHO KNOWS WHAT AND PASS IT UP AS IF ITS SOMETHING NECESSARY TO DO IS BEYOND DISGUSTING!!

They still required masks. The care is great and the people are caring. I forgot my cats rabies certificate but they accepted a pic that my husband sent me. Very reasonable pricing for bail trimming.
