Hi Sandi, I’ve been meaning to share this little episode with you… My pups and I approached a group of a dozen people (and dogs) all talking excitedly about something - so obviously Kira raced up to be part of the party. A dog who had just been bitten by this rattlesnake was being dragged away but I didn’t know what had happened. Kira raced up to the group and stuck her nose right on the snake and people yelled “Call your dog, call your dog!” repeatedly. I yelled “Kira COME!” She turned on a dime and came to me! All this because of your training. I was so grateful and relieved! (Everyone was impressed with that recall which was nice too.)

Sandi and Lesley helped our entire family get on the same page about how to train our puppy. The curriculum is very methodical and really works to have a well trained dog. I really like how there is socialization time, time for questions, and how they watch you practice the training with your puppy and give you tips. We used a private trainer with our last dog, but this is much better. They have a curriculum and handouts to review. They also teach you step by step how to train your dog and how to deal with common problems. I’m so grateful for their help and guidance. They are incredibly knowledgeable and full of helpful advice!

I would give 500 stars instead of 5 stars if I could. My young, rambunctious Great Dane Otis and I LOVED the BravoPup class run by Anna Carlson. We took her Dog 1 and Dog 2 classes in Rockridge. Anna’s methods are totally fun, totally force free - and they totally work! We had been having trouble with Otis’s recall and after only our first 2 classes Otis had a super solid recall - seriously, wild horses couldn’t keep him away when he hears his recall word. Anna later helped me with private sessions acclimating my older dog to a new rescue dog. It was miraculous how quickly and effectively Anna was able to diffuse the situation and get my older dog to be calm and relaxed in the presence of the new dog. Anna really knows what she’s doing and it’s obvious she has a special talent for reading dogs and figuring out stress free ways to guide them into the behavior we want. Updates to follow - I’m so impressed with Anna, we’ll do more private sessions to help me continue to improve the behavior and happiness of my 3 Danes. Sandi's years of experience, not to mention her wit and intuitive perceptions make her a masterful trainer. I can' t say enough encouraging words about her. It had beed 15 years since I last worked with her and when i recently heard Sandi brainstormed Bravo pup ,I was beside myself and eager to start with my new pup. She is the beat in the area. Look no further.
