Bowie Barker Lincoln Park

We have been taking our little pup Marshal to Bowie Barker for 4 months now with their monthly membership. The staff has always been so nice, accommodating, and sweet not only to us but to Marshal as well. He recognizes the walk over and gets excited every time we go, and he gets a cute bandana with the season! The staff sends update photos while he’s getting his bath, which is always appreciated. 10/10 would recommend, so happy Bowie is in our neighborhood!

Bowie Barker is a wonderful place. Our rescues are new to them after several rough experiences at Krisers in Lincoln Park. They get our pups in and out and they truly care about the dogs. On our last visit they alerted us to a tumor that was being hidden by our dogs tail and his hair. We are beyond grateful for the discovery and for the love and care they give to all of dogs. Our dogs leave smelling clean and they look stunning after. It’s not an all day affair like other groomers. We appreciate well run the organization is and how much each groomer is professional, kind, and caring. We would recommend this company and location.

Candace always does a fantastic job grooming my mini Goldendoodle, Maisey! The entire BB staff is incredibly kind and patient. Maisey has had some behavioral challenges in the past getting groomed, but they are always so caring and accommodating, and they really take the time to make her feel comfortable. It means a lot to know she’s in such good hands, because I always worry. I highly recommend Candace and the Bowie Barker team for anyone looking for a great dog groomer!

This is our fourth or fifth time bringing our pup to Bowie, and he absolutely loves it! The staff is warm, professional, and clearly care about the dogs they work with. I always feel completely confident leaving him there, knowing he’s in great hands. One thing I really appreciate, especially compared to other groomers and big pet stores, is that my dog isn’t stuck waiting around for 4+ hours. The turnaround time is reasonable, and the photo updates they send are a thoughtful touch. It’s always reassuring (and fun!) to see how he’s doing. We’ve had nothing but positive experiences here and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

My dog, Halo, absolutely loves going to Bowie Barker in Lincoln Park! The moment we get close, her tail starts wagging like crazy because she knows she’s about to be pampered. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely caring—Halo always comes out looking adorable, smelling amazing, and most importantly, happy. The groomers take their time to make sure she’s comfortable, and they always listen to any special requests. The entire experience is smooth, professional, and full of good vibes. I can’t imagine taking Halo anywhere else. Highly recommend Bowie Barker Lincoln Park to anyone who wants their pup treated like family! Ps she loves the treats and the treat dispenser out front when the salon is closed!
