Thoughts? I’ve debated on whether to post this or not, but I would want to know so I could protect my beautiful companion. My dad took his amazing golden doodle to be boarded for seven days here. He arrived back from his trip a day early, but the owner could not get back to released my dad’s dog due to car trouble. She promised she would meet him early the next day. My dad‘s dog, Sam, was left unattended for over 12 hours. When she arrived back at the facility, he was dead. She was sad about this, but my dad is still grieving Sam‘s life. Sam was a six-year-old goldendoodle in the prime of his life. An autopsy was done on Sam’s body. Findings are sketchy because the owner had taken Sam to be frozen until arrangements could be made. It feels a little bit like tracks were recovered… But we will never know. The working theory is that Sam choked on his food. Well that may be, he never did for the six years he was alive. In addition, had someone been there to release Sam the night before my dad would have been there to help remove the choking obstacle. The owner promised that she would file a claim on her insurance and provide restitution to my father. We agreed to let any further

My dads dog died in her care. Unable to look after him due to car troubles. Tried to get insurance information but after a year she wont respond. 4 year old golden doodle in great shape unit a week at this place/ Horrible business, my dad is a widow, disabled vet...... he has no one else and trusted this lady. Buyer be aware

0 stars if possible. Not only do they not answer any of the 40 numbers they have listed for their business (completely and utterly unprofessional and unorganized) but they were late meeting me to drop off my dog (whom they never even asked his name) they didn't go over any care instructions for him, they never told me how he was doing the entire time he was there and ignored me when I asked, and were late meeting me to pick him up. When I picked him up he still had meals left, as I had bagged them to make it easy for them to feed him. So not sure when they missed feeding my baby his dinner but I feel so bad that I left him there to starve in what I can only describe as comparable to a kennel not a grooming salon or daycare. Not to mention the god awful smell of urine. Ive worked in the grooming/boarding industry for years, its easy to keep the smell of dog urine out if you stay on top of cleaning. When I went to pick up, ready to pay they told me they'd send me an invoice and shoo'd me out the door quicker than I can explain, leaving me to wonder, did something go wrong with my dog that you just dont even care if I pay at this point? We absolutely loved this place! We needed to drop off our dog while visiting South Padre and were so glad we found it. It’s clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and communication was smooth and easy—such a relief. I’d definitely recommend it, and our dog had a great time too!

We were in a bind when the place we had reservations with back home fell through. I called this place on a whim and as luck would have it, they had availability for our boy. We were so happy we could bring him on the road! Lexi was my point of contact and she was so amazing! She made it so easy to use their services and they took great care of our Thor. They even sent us some photos on his walk one day. If you’re driving into town and need to board your dog or cat, I highly recommend this establishment. We will use them again whenever we come back this way.
