Beauty for the Beast

Located at 1350 Dredge Pl, Wasilla, AK 99654, Beauty for the Beast operates as a pet groomer serving Wasilla in Alaska. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–4 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 40 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pet groomers in Wasilla.

Wasilla is in Alaska, where long summer days and dark cold winters set the rhythm of business; many seasonal operations run only from May to September, so call ahead outside the summer. Getting around Wasilla is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Alaska's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.
