We have a young dog, she’s almost a year old. We are first time dog people. I toured all the daycares around St. Charles county and while they all seemed welcoming they honestly aren’t all the best fit which was very obvious. I appreciated that Baxters told me up front that we have to make sure this works for my dog. That tells me they care and she isn’t just another number. We have had great daycare days since. Big difference from some of the others in which my dog came home so anxious and smelly. Today my dog had her first grooming there and while we have had about 10 grooms elsewhere the groomer took so much time with me this morning just to make sure we were both on the same page, we both were comfortable and my expectations were properly set. She called me after the grooming and we chatted again. It was thoughtful and again shows care and that this is not just another number.

I love this doggy daycare! I feel comfortable taking my dog here for grooming and boarding and its obvious she (my dog) is comfortable as well. The new owner has really made the place very clean and inviting. You can tell the new owner Tracy loves animals and she takes care of her employees. I think she has hired a great group of people. Everyone seems so patient and attentive. They always have different activities and parties for the dogs. You will get your money's worth for care for your dog at Baxters.

WE LOVE BAXTER’S K9 COMPLEX! Call them and try it for free, that’s what we did! Baxter’s K9 Complex is the best place around. They have treated my dog like a family member. Then staff knows each dog and they treat each dog individually because they are all different. They love your dog, they watch them, and they take the best care of your dog everyday. The staff are the same people all the time and they all love dogs and it shows. My dog wants to go and will pull me in the door. That says a lot! He goes to daycare, gets a bath and brushing and teeth brushing, he also boards when needed. We have been going to Baxter’s for over a year. We have an 1 1/2 year old Aussie and we also have a 17 year old fragile little Shitzu poodle and both are taken care of perfectly. I can’t recommend Baxter’s enough and all the reason above are why! They are amazing and they are affordable too! NOTE: This was OUR experience with other places ….. I took my dog to a big place for daycare and boarding , and also a chain place for day care. What I found out was that my dog wasn’t getting to play and was being put in a kennel most of the day and no one was telling me at the big place. At the chain place he

My doodle, Finley, LOVES Baxter's! He has been going for well over 2 years and still gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. The staff is amazing and they do so many cute activities for the dogs. Plus, they now have the best groomer, Becka, working there! My usually nervous little guy feels right at home at Baxter's and he loves all the staff. We can feel good about boarding Finley there during our travels knowing he's in a safe and fun environment. Take your dog to Baxter's ASAP!

Highly recommend Baxter's! Friendly staff, everyone knows Porter's name. They have a separate play area for small/medium dogs and big dogs which is great when your small dog thinks they should be playing with the big guys. They have different activities at daycare just like a kids daycare which I personally love. Haley and Cheyanne are awesome trainers and give very detailed lesson plans so you can keep the training up at home.
