I’m really disappointed with how our dog has been treated here recently. We’ve been bringing her here for a while, and it used to be such a fun, welcoming place for dogs to play. Unfortunately, it no longer feels that way. Lately, it seems more focused on being a social gathering for people than a place for dogs. Some of the Rufferees appear more interested in mingling with the people they know, while becoming frustrated with dogs that are simply trying to play and run around. Our puppy loves to run and play, which is exactly what we expected when bringing her to a dog café. However, during our last two visits, she was scolded and even told to leave because she was being too playful. It also feels like certain dogs are treated differently depending on whether their owners are friends with the staff. That’s incredibly frustrating because now I feel like I have to worry about who is working and whether my dog will be treated differently. I’ve also noticed that some Rufferees seem overly timid or hesitant when managing the dogs, which can create an environment where normal play is discouraged. If dogs aren’t allowed to run, wrestle, or play freely, that should be made much clearer

I bring my dog here after long work days and he loves it. The staff are attentive and kind, the facility is impressively clean, and the beverages available are broad. While every once and a while there are other dog owners who are not my cup of tea, what is amazing is how great all of the dogs get along. The property is large enough for everyone to have a place to enjoy themselves. I especially appreciate how well trained the dog handlers are. They are always keeping an eye on dogs interacting with each other. I have a ten pound pup that interacts with 100+ lbs dogs and I am able to relax. If you want to eat while you were there you can even bring your own food. Super great spot. I love this business.

We love Barkside! We’ve visited before with our lab mix Scout and loved being able to have a drink and socialize while Scout gets to run around and make friends. The rufferees do a great job of watching the dogs and keeping the park clean. Scout just went for her first day of day camp and loved it. They sent pics and updates throughout the day of how she was doing. She was so happy and tired when I went to pick her up.

This place is brilliant! It's super clean and well- organized. But most importantly, the staff is amazing. You can tell that every single person enjoys their job and loves dogs. It's one of my dog's most favorite places in the whole world.

Had a great time today. So great for the soul to watch all the dogs roaming freely and playing. I was so surprised to see how well the dogs get along. Our dog behaved so much better than when he is on his leash and we’re walking and he encounters another dog. Be sure to create an account to register your dog and upload vaccination records before you arrive. They have a nice selection of beer, wine, cocktails and coffee drinks.
