The staff genuinely cares about my little guy, and lets me know if he has any behavior or health concerns. He always comes back tired after a fun day, and the photos they post for pup parents are adorable. I was also able to get dog boarding in a pinch a few times with one of the staff, Lupe, and I can just tell that she takes care of my dog like one of her own. I trust them like I would a friend or family caring for my dog, and their reliability and flexibility (when plans change on my side!) has been a godsend. The only dog daycare I would recommend in SF!

We have been sending our shihtzu mix Truffle to small dog daycare at Bark Avenue for two years, and he has the best time! He is always so excited to walk up to the door and see all his friends. The staff are wonderful and truly dog people who take such good care of the pups! We totally trust them and have hired one of the staff members to dog sit Truffle while we travel, and Truffle just adores them (shout out to Lupe!). When we first signed up for Bark Avenue, I was nervous about how Truffle would do on the outdoor pack walks (he can be anxious about all the city noises outside), but they do such a good job partnering the dogs up in compatible small groups for their outside walk time, and he does just fine! It has probably helped his confidence, too. They post photos of the dogs to a private instagram for pup parents every day, and I love seeing Truffle on his walk or playing with his friends while I am at work. The daycare’s policy is that you need to select a pre-set schedule for the days of the week that your dog will attend (no random drop ins, although you can request additional days as needed in advance if they have the space to accommodate). Nico, 3 year old papillon, has been going to Bark Avenue for at least the last two years. He loves it there! He is so excited to run back to play with the other small pups. The staff is super caring and we know they take great care of all the dogs.

We had the pleasure of filming Bark Avenue Doggy Day Care's 3D Virtual Tour. The place is super clean, organized, and accommodating for the lovable doggies.❤️ There's 2 locations - one for the "big dogs", another around the corner for the "small dogs". Both are kept up very well. The staff are kind, the owner Amanda is very sweet and they take great loving care of the dogs.😊 Including walks around the city waterfront and grassy park areas. They were a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend them for a wonderful doggy daycare in SF! 🐶

We love Bark Avenue. We started sending our dog Alfred when he was a puppy. The staff at Bark really helped him gain confidence playing with other dogs. We enjoy seeing the Instagram posts of our dog throughout the day. The daycare is always very well staffed. It is so nice to be able to drop Alfred off and not worry about him. We also have really appreciated the ability to have staff at Bark watch Alfred when we’ve been away. We can’t recommend Bark enough.
