Took my 8+ month old rescue - Polly- for grooming. Initially, I was concerned because since she was a rescue, I had no idea how she was going to handle being groomed. I had only had her three weeks. They were extremely careful with her, even sending pictures of her during her grooming. I’m very happy with the results and I’ve always used Bark Avenue for my previously owned dogs. I find their place to be clean, front desk people to be very kind and helpful and my Polly was perfectly groomed. Prices are just about the same as any grooming and I do not find them to be too high. Great place for your fur-ever’s to get groomed.

I’ve been bringing my dog to Bark Avenue for years and have generally had good experiences. Noellie usually grooms him and always does an excellent job — his haircut is even and he comes home smelling fresh. Late last year another groomer cut his hair and it was very uneven, so I specifically requested that Noellie continue grooming him. My account was noted with that request. However, when my mom picked him up today his haircut looked choppy again and he didn’t smell freshly groomed like he normally does. When I called the business, I was told the same groomer who did the poor cut previously was the one who groomed him today. Everyone there is usually friendly and the service has been good overall, but I’m disappointed that my request was not followed. I work hard for my money and expect the service I pay for to be done with care. I’ll be driving back to OKC in a few days to have his haircut corrected. I hate to put him through another appointment so soon because he doesn’t like getting his hair done, but I can’t have my baby looking so shabby. Update: the owner reached out to me to make things right, so I took my baby back on Tuesday where he personally got him fixed up. My ba

this was our dog’s first trip to the groomer and we will never go anywhere else again! she was very nervous so the staff being so friendly and good with her made a big difference. the place is very clean and respectable. they did a great job getting the shelter smell off of her and making her coat soft & shiny for a very reasonable price. thanks guys!

Excellent service, professional cuts and supporting our locally owned business. I've used them exclusively for years. Our girls always looks delightful. Book in advance. Just like any professional services, there is a wait and booking secures your fur babe a spot. They send reminders via text which is great. Tip your bather and stylist.

We got our girl groomed here last-minute this past weekend. Her hair had become matted during the grow-out from the last (horrible!!) grooming she had in November. We knew we wanted to get her shaved and keep her hair long, as we often put it up with bows or braids. We got a call back from a voicemail we left on the machine to go ahead and bring her in. Someone had canceled so a spot was open. It’s a busy, small shop. Groomers were working on dogs as we came in. Juneau hates going to the groomers so she began to shake and ask to be held. We got her checked in. I was very appreciative that the woman working the front desk wrote down every note we gave her. We wanted her shaved down, groomed like a poodle, with her hair left long, no gland expression, etc. Dutifully, she put the notes down and they took Juneau to the kennel to wait. I was nervous, as I always am, while she was getting groomed. They have a text system to alert you when they are finished, and just two hours after I dropped her off, I was notified that Juneau was ready. When I saw her, I knew I had found a new groomer. Though they had cut her ear hair a little shorter than I usually like it, the hair was in propor
