Great vets. Took our savannah monitor lizard and she was very knowledgable and kind.

I trusted Avain & Exotic with care for my pet rats & feel i got the best care for them in the city. Both vets were empathetic, realistic in their advice and recommendations (girl rats get lots of tumors, so I had to rely on their expertise and advice on how to best handle) and i felt confident letting them care for my girls.

Today my beardy Douglass (A.K.A. Dougy Doo) had his first and sadly only appt with Avian & Exotic. He was very sick and was in severe pain. All who came in to help from the Dr to the nurses were super compassionate and explained every step they took. And Mr. Radar even came to console me. I would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone with an exotic or avian baby. I have other exotics that will be going here when needed. Thank yall so much for the help and the love I felt in this very hard time!

I brought my box turtle here a while ago for a beak trim, I haven't left since. The prices are incredibly reasonable and the doctors take such good care of my baby girl. Shes been with us for 20+ years and I trust the doctors will keep her with me for another 20+ years. Everyone is sweet and caring and careful. I love this place and recommend everyone bring their exotic pets here.

Absolutely LOVE this place! We take our 31 year old Yellow Naped Amazon, Alex. Dr. Pence is very thorough. We appreciate how friendly the staff is and how carefully they attend to and handle our sweet boy. Sometimes there’s a wait, but good things take time and I will wait for as long as it takes to get Alex top notch care. That being said—I don’t think we’ve ever had to wait more than 1/2 hour. Dr. Pence is incredibly knowledgeable and well versed in how to take care of the animals in her charge. I will never take him to a different vet, God willing! I used to work at a small animal vet clinic in West Monroe, LA, and this clinic is so very impressive. I respect and appreciate everything, from the front desk staff to the techs to the vets. They are wonderful!
