This place is fantastic! The ladies in the front desk are professional and communicated well. The doctors and techs are so thorough and considerate. I felt very heard when explaining the issues our bearded dragon was having. They answered all of our questions and made us feel relieved and confident in helping our bearded dragon be her healthiest. On top of the wonderful care, the cost was extremely reasonable! We live an hour away, but it's completely worth it. Thank you guys for taking care of Barbie :)

These people are absolutely unprofessional, do not give you any answers thoroughly about exotic animals and when they pass away, of course can only give you a gross necropsy. They tell you that they can ship your Animal out to UGA for a full necropsy. I would not recommend doing this as your animal will probably be lost and there’s nobody that you can reach out to you to find them!!! Just what someone should deal with after losing a loved one that is their pet!!! I sure hope that Hunter Maclean has spoken for them losing animals before because this is not going to go by the wayside!!!! (Also put the wrong date on my animals take home print which I paid $15 for, so it was not like the thing was complimentary. He passed this year, not two years ago) 😒🤐

I had an amazing experience at the Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital. I brought in my leopard gecko, Boba, because I was really worried about her eyes and overall health, and the entire staff was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered my questions, and made sure my gecko was handled gently and with care. They removed stuck shed from both of her eyes, treated her with medication, and helped identify the root cause of the issue so I know how to prevent it in the future. As a worried pet owner, I felt really listened to and reassured. The pricing was also very reasonable for exotic care, especially considering how thorough the visit and treatments were. I’m so grateful for the care they gave my gecko and would absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone with reptiles or other exotic pets. You can tell they truly care about the animals they treat.

I worry constantly about all our babies, especially Chico, pne of my blue and gold macaws. That’s why having a veterinary team that genuinely takes the time to listen to my concerns, understand each pet’s unique needs, and walk me through every detail means the world to me. They don’t just treat animals, they really care deeply. Whether it’s calling me with test results late in the evening or making sure I’m informed before they go on leave, their dedication is unwavering. Even though I know they see countless pets every day, they always make me feel like mine are their top priority. That level of attention and compassion has made a profound difference in both my peace of mind and my babies’ health. I’m beyond grateful.
