I have worked with AFD twice, for training with one of my pups and the again for behavioral and anxiety issues and training with a pup I was fostering. The level of investment in my pups that they showed was amazing! Anytime I had a question or felt overwhelmed they were available. Also the extensive knowledge on not just training techniques but the WHY behind behaviors my pups were showing was far beyond what I was expecting. It felt like having a line of communication opened up between me and my pups that I didn’t even know was missing. I highly recommend AFD to anyone!

Our German Shepherd developed anxiety and aggression towards other dogs after he was attacked by two dogs. I searched all over for an organization with people who could help him and I found AFD. Thanks to them he no longer lunges towards other dogs and has less anxiety thanks to his regimen. Whenever my family and I go on vacation, we always leave him and our Miniature Pinscher with AFD. They are always well taken care of and they even undergo touch-up training sessions during their stay. I really can't recommend this organization enough. Thank you AFD!

When we travel, we trust AFD with our dogs boarding more than anyone else. Our doberman and toy pom require a lot of attention, and we feel safe leaving them in their care. They return home more well-behaved, and we receive regular updates with photos and valuable training advice. The training lessons we attend are always informative and comprehensive.

I would highly recommend Assessments for Dogs for their dog training and evaluations. I was very impressed with their knowledge and understanding of canine training and behavior. They’re really great with the dogs. You can also be very confident that your dog will be very well treated and taken care of while in their care.
