Chance and I had a wonderful experience with Rebecca and Chris. Chance is a 120lb rottweiler, and he had started getting reactive (after 10months of recovery and no socialization due to two surgeries back to back...no real fault of his own). With his breed and size, I knew I had to get control of him now. Money was tight, but we made it work. Rebecca was phenomenal in helping ME understand what Chance needed. Chance did great. He responded well to the e-collar and quick. After all of our sessions, I felt like Chance really wasn't the problem....I was (my lack of confidence). But once I could relax....it seemed smooth sailing. I loved the training so well, we are going back for group classes now!! I can't thank Rebecca enough for the calmness she portrayed in her training, and that then carried over to me. (And I put not sure of the price only because how do you put a price on making sure your dog is safe?)

We had a wonderful experience with Asheville Dog Academy and especially with Rebecca, our trainer. We enrolled both of our dogs, Charlie and Parker, in the 11-week Ultimate Success Obedience Program. Charlie was almost 2 years old and Parker was just over a year old when we started, and we came in with a long list of behaviors we wanted help with. At the time, Charlie was doing okay, but Parker had tons of energy and was very reactive toward other dogs and strangers in public. Taking them out to lunch or to have a beer somewhere was not enjoyable or realistic. They dragged us everywhere, and we were also dealing with digging in the yard and some toy-aggression issues. Chris assured us during the consultation that our goals were achievable through the program, and he was absolutely right. Rebecca really shined as our instructor. She was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and easy to work with. She taught Charlie and Parker so much, but just as importantly, she taught Trish and me how to better communicate with them and set them up for success. Looking back at day one, it is amazing to see how far they came. By the time we were in group sessions, Charlie and Parker were behaving ca

We are beyond thrilled with the progress that our dog Theo made with training from the Asheville Dog Academy. Anna did a wonderful job giving us so many tips we could put into practice everyday that were impactful very quickly. The mix of 1:1 training, training in public settings, and group training were all very beneficial. Now we can take our dog anywhere and he is well behaved. Thank you Asheville Dog Academy, especially a big thank you to Anna.

We took our 10 week old puppy to Asheville Dog Academy for puppy lessons with Rebecca and are thrilled with the outcome. Rebecca truly has a gift when it comes to understanding dog behaviors and training. She is focused and result driven. In addition we hired her to come to our home for private lessons with our 7 yo Cattle dog and 12 yo Chow mix who needed a little refresher. She listened to our needs/wants and built lessons around them. She trained us as much as she trained the dogs. We finished the 3 private lessons a lot better off than when we started. I cannot recommend this place enough and cannot wait to take our puppy's training to the next level. Thanks Rebecca!!

We did the three-week board and train with Violet at Asheville Dog Academy, and from start to finish, the experience was incredible. Yes, it’s an investment, but Asheville Dog Academy made it really manageable with payment plans, and if I’m being completely honest, the results have been priceless. Before Bear went to training, everyday life was hard. Walks were stressful, getting his attention felt impossible, and any sense of structure or responsibility just wasn’t there. It made bringing him places or even just handling day-to-day things really overwhelming. Now, it’s completely different, in the best way possible. Life is so much easier, calmer, and more enjoyable for both of us. Bear is happier, we’re happier, and everything just feels balanced. I especially want to highlight Violet, because she truly deserves it. She is incredible. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but you can tell how much she genuinely cares about the dogs and their owners. She treated Bear like her own and was so intentional with everything she did. During Bear’s stay, there was also a major winter storm that hit Western North Carolina, and even with that going on, Violet made us feel completely
