I love coming to Art School. They’ve created such a fun, welcoming community. I appreciate their willingness to work with their members and take any class requests. I have yet to find any other art community in Portland that’s been quite so fun and nurturing; I feel like my ceramic skills have grown immensely! The studio pups are always a highlight as well and I’ve made a bunch of friends within the studio.

I love coming here! I started taking classes 9 months ago and went from never touching clay to making pieces I’m really proud of! Just signed up for another 8 week course and can’t wait. The teachers are very helpful and the environment is really special.

Art school is my happy place! More than just a pottery studio, it is a true community third space, and it’s something my soul has been craving for a very long time. The owner, Jen, along with all the other instructors and studio aides create such a welcoming atmosphere. Art school is a place to learn new skills and hobbies, make friends, eat snacks, and have fun!

This is a ceramics makerspace (yellow building) and hands-down the cleanest, well maintained, organized, and amazing staff you can find. Fun classes, super nice instructors, friendly and (hot) members.
