Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in California, and how long your pet will stay. Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Sacramento is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

By far, the best place to leave your pups, be it for a day of play or overnight while you're away. The staff at ACK truly cares about the animals they board, and I can leave my Huskey without ever having any worries or concerns. When it comes to costs, they are hands down the most reasonably priced day care and boarding facility around, and they are one of the very few facilities I was able to find in all of Sacramento who will board unaltered animals. I wish I knew everyone's name there so I could give them all credit, but they truly do take care of the animals and provide excellent customer service to boot! Danielle has been wonderful. She accommodated my last minute request to begin boarding my dog there when I returned to school and our former dog sitter couldn't do mornings, and he has been a regular ever since. Also, if you need your dog bathed and groomed, Sherry is an outstanding groomer, and my dog absolutely adores her. If you have a special needs animal or one who required medications or injections, Sherry can also administer those for you. I always feel comfortable knowing my 4 legged son is being cared for and all of his needs are being met while i'm away. The only com

Super amazing dog care. I was able to see the kennel area as well as the back yard which was huge and very clean from what I could see. Difficult to get ahold of on the phone, but I think it's because they're busy providing care to the animals (as they should be). Everyone I dealt with was incredible. Great decor in the lobby as well!

They truly care about your pets here. I've been to many boarding places over the years, and this place gives treating you like family vibes. Usually, I would feel sort of bad leaving my dog, but this is actually a treat for her to be with all the dogs and friendly employees here. I'm so happy to have found you guys. ❤

Our 2 dogs have been getting boarded here for almost 2 years now and we love Arcade Creek! They are always so friendly and our dogs also love going here. They are always sooo tired when we pick them up, we love how much outside play they get when they are there. Our German shepherd isn’t fixed and it was soo hard to find a boarding place that took unneutered dogs, and also allows him to play with the others. Plus, their prices cannot be beat! It’s been such a relief finding a place we can trust our babies with and we will keep using them for the unseeable future. Thank you for taking care of our doggies, Arcade Creek Kennels!

The staff were so friendly! I met Silver & Danielle and they were super knowledgeable. And the dogs seemed genuinely happy! They have so many dogs available for adoption. I'm excited to go back!
