In Mobile, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Alabama, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Mobile is in Alabama, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Mobile is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Alabama's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Front desk is not very welcoming and staff rushes with grooming. Very unprofessional and money hungry. The heavy set lady at the front desk with dark hair enjoys arguing and takes no accountability when it comes to customer care. Do not bring your animals here, I would give them -100 stars if I could! Do not recommend!!

I just picked my little dog a while ago. Charli looked amazing. We live 30 miles away and have yet to find anyone who can cut, groom and doll up a loved one like these guys, the owner specifically, did the magic. I am sure they all do the same. Rebecca had groomed another dog for me for better than 10 years and I took Charli back for a true spa treatment. Will continue to make that trip. Thanks Apollo Paws.

Apollo's Paws is good for your pets. They keep your pets healthy, handsome and pretty. The staff is so good with so many types of pets you bring here to be kept healthy and look good. They are closed Sunday and Monday but available the rest of the week to take care of your pets.

My little Peanut had his first grooming at Apollo's Paws and I was thrilled with how he came home. The pricing was affordable and they even put a cute festival bandana on him for Thanksgiving. He is normally terrified to have his nails trimmed but they said he did great! Will definitely make this his new spa treat! Thank you for taking care of my fur baby💜

Rebecca and the staff at Apollo's Paws are incredible groomers. I am amazed at the quality of grooming that my Standard Poodle and Shih Tzu get there every month. Both of them love to go to the spa because this team really loves animals. Every time I pick them up they "strut" around because they know they look awesome. Another great fact is that Rebecca can groom aviary clients. Birds need their wings clipped, nails trimmed, etc. I was surprised the first time I saw a huge parrot waiting it's turn for some pampering. Cat lovers, don't worry, Apollo's Paws loves the feline clientele. Another GREAT feature is that appointments can be booked online and you can even book them out for the entire year! Wow! Pricing is in line with other grooming locations in the area. So thankful I found this place for my dogs. We went through three different groomers before discovering Rebecca. Book an appointment...you are going to love this place! She even has fresh coffee for her customers! Wow!
