I've been going to Annandale Pet Spa for about 2 years now and I could not recommend a better place for your pet. First, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Secondly, the pricing is very reasonable and affordable for the NOVA area. I'm actually moving soon and I'm willing to drive 30 - 40 mins to ensure Ana grooms my two boys. Lastly, I love their flexibility! My dogs are more on the anxious side, and I hate to part from them for long, so I'm able to drop them off early to get them out earlier. They do charge a priority fee, I think it's $20... maybe more, but I've never felt the need to use it. In case you didn't catch it, I'd recommend Ana! She is great with the poodle mixes! (P.S. my dog friend group, which consists of three poodle mixes, all go to Annandale Pet Spa).

I’ve taken my Westie to a few different groomers around the DMV, and Dominique is on another level. She does the most beautiful hand-stripping — my dog’s coat comes out looking perfect every single time. Highly recommend!

I brought my dog in for a grooming appointment and he came back with an obvious wound on his nose. When my fiancé picked him up, they told him he came in that way, which is completely false. We have timestamped photos from the night before showing his nose was perfectly fine. Since they had already closed, I called the following day and was given multiple, changing explanations. First I was told he may have scratched his nose trying to get out of his cage. Then a voicemail was left saying a coworker saw him trying to cover up his poop in the cage and scratched his nose on the rug in the process. It’s concerning that he was left unsupervised long enough for any of this to happen, and that he apparently felt the need to hide his waste, which speaks to the environment he was kept in. This is also the second time he came back with a wound on his nose like that. Also, like other reviewers have mentioned, my dog came home severely dehydrated — he drank his entire water bowl and then went searching for more in the toilet. When I spoke with the owner, instead of taking responsibility, I was told that ‘mistakes happen’ and that I should not let my dog get matted and should pick him up right

I dropped off my cat for a groom and bath in the morning of 3/21. When I showed up 30mins before closing to pick her up even without a notification call because I wanted to make sure I'm there in time, I was told that she wasn't ready. I figured no worries, that's fine, I don't mind waiting as long as they're taking care of her. They said that my cat freaked out about bathing at first so they had to give her some time to calm down. This was understandable. I went ahead and paid a hefty (hefty for my wallet) tip for their troubles while they were still working on her. Tell me why, when I get my cat back, she looks absolutely chopped? I figured maybe, I need to let her coat dry to see the final results, and that it can't be that bad. So I didn't make a fuss, paid the full amount, and just took her home. But It looks like the person who worked on her rushed to just chop bits off of her fur. Her coat is so uneven, it was unbelievable. She's my first fur baby so I tried to find a groomer who had good reviews and came personally recommended by someone. Considering all of the reviews here, I'm appalled, disappointed, and regret driving 45 mins in traffic one way for the service. I didn't

Dominique has been grooming my 4-year-old cavapoo since he was a puppy, and she is truly the best. Photos don’t do justice to the incredible work she does. My pup absolutely loves her now, and he no longer gets stressed after grooming. Her skill, care, and gentle approach make all the difference. I highly recommend Dominique and Annandale Pet Spa!
