We’ve had a great experience with Bark Avenue. Hank and Lambeau attend Day School each week, and it’s something they genuinely seem to enjoy. We really appreciate the variety of enrichment activities they offer, and the seasonal parties are always a fun bonus. We’ve used Bark Avenue for grooming, especially their Toe Tapping Tuesday nail trim specials, and have had a good experience. We’ve even had Hank and Lambeau groomed during longer boarding stays, which has been a convenient way to have them come home clean and refreshed. We’ve also boarded them here several times while we’ve been out of town, and it’s been reassuring to know they’re well cared for. The staff are kind, patient, and have always been great to work with. It’s nice having a place we trust where our dogs are happy, active, and well taken care of. We’re thankful to have Bark Avenue as part of their routine.

Bark Ave Ankeny was amazing to my pup and my family. I felt so discouraged after trying another location doggy boarding place and finding out that my doggo, Olive, was just not great with other pups. She was adopted and had some prior trauma, but she’s the sweetest girl once you get to know her. Bark Ave encouraged us and made us feel right at home. Jessica took Olive in with open arms and she took right to her. We got almost daily updates from Mo B, Ashlyn R, Karen, and all the other wonderful staff at Bark Ave! The photos showed just how happy Olive was and I didn’t once question or worry about her while I was gone on vacation. When I picked her up you could tell how happy she was and she LOVED the staff. So thank you Bark Ave, for making us feel right at home and taking such good care of our girly while we are gone. We are forever grateful!

Love Ankeny Bark Avenue & so does my dog. I believe she thinks it's her 2nd home. They are wonderful to her & accommodating to me, providing most every service we need. Thank you so much for taking such great care of both of us.

My dog Winston has been going to daycare/boarding at Bark Avenue for about 3 years now. I trust the staff here with Winston completely. They treat him like family and know his name the second we walk in for drop off. He is always so excited to go and it’s a great outlet for his energy. We love the parties and special meals they offer. We also use their grooming service. He smells amazing after his baths and you can tell how refreshed he feels. Bark Avenue is truly Winston’s second home and we can’t thank all of the staff members enough for all they do for us. I strongly recommend sending your pups here.
