I went in to adopt a cat in November of 2025 (11/25/25). My fiance was with me. The staff were all women, didn’t greet me when I walked in (actually looked annoyed) but I wanted to adopt so I met several cats anyways. They literally never responded to my application?? When I called them like two weeks later they said they’d given away the cat I wanted but had other cats??? I know it’s Sept 2026 but they still haven’t answered my application, and I can’t get over their unfriendliness. Like it’s a literal animal shelter. Wouldn’t you want to be nice to help these sweet babies find a home? Anyways! My now husband got me a cat for Christmas and he’s my absolute pride and joy! He turns 1 this September and he’s such a character.

Everything went very well until I arrived at love for life in Franklin Massachusetts to get my new cat Stan neutered it was reminiscing of a scrap yard asking my cat that I pulled from a cage to go back into one for 12 hours coming home smelling of urine I don't mind giving a donation but I wouldn't bring my chickens to the facility they set me up with. And then to receive a threatening phone call from the adoption center telling me they were going to impound my cat because I wanted to choose my own veterinarian was even more disgusting Katie I'm not going to forget about you

I adopted 2 of my Pit Bull dogs from here and I truly could not be more thankful for everyone who has a part in the many wonderful things they do for animals AND people at the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts. I love my 2 bully's so much and I will support this place in any way possible. Thank you so much for loving animals so much. What would we do without them? They bring so much joy to our lives!

The absolute best. We adopted a kitten and they were sweet and answered all my questions! I have been trying to find a kitten to complete my little family and we got extremely lucky with this one. He is so sweet and loving and our puppy is his best friend. We couldn’t be more happy.

Adopted this sweet little girl about a month ago, the shelter staff was very nice and prompt to reach out to us after submitting the application. The whole process was smooth and the facility was clean and spacious. She’s fitting in with our other cats and is a ball of energy and cuddles. Would recommend finding your new fur baby here! ❤️🐱
