About Animal Lovers Pet Salon

Animal Lovers Pet Salon is one of the pet groomers listed in Chicago, Illinois. The business is registered at 2232 N Clybourn Ave, Chicago, IL 60614; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–6 pm. It is closed on Monday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Animal Lovers Pet Salon at (773) 296-9343; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 133 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pet groomers in Chicago.

Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Chicago is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Chip and his whole team were nothing short of amazing with our 5 month old mini goldendoodle puppy! Communication was top notch, and our pup came home looking so fresh and tidy. Highly recommend their services for other dog owners. We'll definitely keep coming back for her future haircuts!

Been going to Animal Lovers for a few years now since my little fluff ball pom was born. Chip and team do a fantastic job. I used to live down the street and moved across town, and although I have places a block or two away, I make it a point to go back to Animal Lovers each month. I'm sure my little guy is a handful but he comes back looking great every time! Chip and Dani are super responsive, great at communication, and very accommodating. Would recommend 100% Thanks team!

Great for cats!!! My boyfriend and I brought our sweet baby boy Moon here after he had a bathroom accident while with a cat sitter. We were very nervous, as he has never gotten a hair cut or been in an animal salon before. He is squirmy and scares easily. We watched through the window as his groomer took him out of his carrier, and we had never seen Moon so calm in his life! The groomer handled him so well and even groomed him right in front of the window so we could watch and help ease our nerves. Moon got his sanitary cut and it took less than 5 minutes! We are extremely impressed and so thankful for the man who helped our Moon feel better. I cannot recommend this place enough and I will absolutely bring Moon back for next time! Thank you!

We LOVE Animal Lovers!! Chip has been grooming my dogs for many years. He and his team always do a great job, are professional and get my dog in and out as quickly as possible! I have an Aussie who sheds constantly, Chip came up with a game plan for my dog for the summer to manage her thick coat, keeping her comfortable and maintaining my sanity with the shedding!! Scheduling is always a breeze and very accommodating. I also love the cute little collar bling they always add 😍

I absolutely love Animal Lovers Pet Salon! They always do a thorough job with my short hair dog and her nails always look great. It is a bit on the more expensive side, but you do get what you pay for with the care for your pet, with the quality of the products and with the work done. (also love the flowers that they give with the groom) I take my literal child here (my dog), so I of course would recommend this groomer to anyone looking for a top tier groom for their pet.
