Dr. Henry and the staff at Animal Health Clinic are the best. They took care of my dog with love and care. I highly recommend taking your pets there.

The clinic is always clean, and very inviting , Ben was calm and went with the staff with no hesitation. My dog was given the treatment he needed , and it made me feel better about his care .

AHCBR is a phenomenal practice. Everyone who works there, from the front office to the back, are the most caring and warm people who are 100% there for their clients and their patients. I have worked in the veterinary industry for over 30 years, collaborating with specialists in orthopedics, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, ER, physical therapy, and advanced diagnostics in multiple cities/states across the US. When I moved to Baton Rouge, it took me a while to find a primary care practice that would take the best care of my pets (yeah, I’m picky because I’m in the industry). AHCBR is the one. I recently took 2 new dogs I rescued to see them, get them caught up on their vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick prevention, have them tested for heartworms and other worms, have them microchipped, get them dentals, and have my girl spayed and my boy neutered. I’ve been taking my kitties to AHC for about 2 years now and I’ve always been very happy with the level of service they provide. During the last week, I’ve had to make the difficult decision to euthanize one of my old cats, Squirrel. I was blown away by the compassion shown by every staff member, the vets, and the effort they put in to making my sweet girl’s passing as painless as possible as well as thinking about my needs as someone losing a beloved friend. I’ve had a lot of pets during my lifetime, so I’ve unfortunately had to put many to sleep over the years, but I have never been treated with the level of care and compassion that AHC provided for me today. Thank you guys so much. Those details make a huge impact. From Catherine, Moose, Althea, Zeno, and my late Squirrel. ❤️

I brought my deceased kitty here to be cremated. The staff was very understanding and empathetic of my situation. They did a beautiful job regarding the cremation; the clay paw print memento they made with my kitty’s paw was very professional and well done. They have a selection of urns, too. The entire facility is well kept and clean.
