Absolutely never adopt from this shelter. They do not combo test their cats for FIV/FELV and tell potential adopters they do. Seriously what animal shelter wouldn't test for this..? Two of my friends have adopted cats from here with "no issues" and both have had long term health issues (chronic asthma and chronic upper respiratory infections caused by a polyp) that were PREVIOUSLY DOCUMENTED and lied about when adopting. Dogs here also all have kennel cough and they will lie to you about that too and never handle it properly. Do not ever adopt from here unless you're prepared to handle a ton of health issues without your previous agreement.

I would give this a negative review if possible, the staff are incredibly rude, you have to fill out a form to even interact with the cats. The cat cages are completely unclean and the cats clearly aren’t allowed to be out of the cage even if they say we can take them out. Volunteers have followed us around every step we go acting like we would hurt or steal one of the cats. I went with my mother today, she wanted to take a cat out of the cage to play and a volunteer complained and immediately put it back into the cage it came from. There was no sign on his cage indicating he shouldn’t be let out, he wasn’t sick or just had surgery. We did not even get a chance to interact with the cats whatsoever. I’m incredibly frustrated with the service and on top of that a lot of the time we go the cats seem incredibly sick like they aren’t properly taken care of. As a cat owner who loves cats a incredible amount, I hope that these cats can get taken to a shelter that actually cares about their needs and safety and finding good homes for them

Friendly staff very clean facility. I for the second time in a years time had to bail out my dog Phillip and I am still surprised at how low the fee is compared to other shelters are to get him out plus they offer other things as well like microchipping for only 20 dollars per pet. They usually have for sale different dog outfits and really nice harnesses and leashes for way cheaper than retail. You can definitely count on these people to do their very best and everything they can to ensure your pets safety and health are top priority.

Love this place. The staff seems super busy and we had some missed communications during the adoption process but ultimately they seemed genuinely concerned about making sure their animals are well and going to safe homes. Found the perfect 4 legged family member (hiking partner, camping buddy...) here after a few visits and following online for awhile.

We adopted a kitten here back in June 2017. Now fully grown, he has turned out to be so much better than any of us thought he would be. He was adopted as my therapy cat. He was friendly in the beginning, but now he's really super friendly. Constantly wants affection, loves being around people, and has been there for me when no one else has. Yes he is wild sometimes and claws things he shouldn't but the amount of good this cat has brought us easily overshadows his flaws. My family agrees that this was the best $10 spent (adoption fee at the time) of all time. What a bargain for such a great cat. Both photos were him at the time of his adoption in June 2017. His name is Pinstripe and he has his forever home with us and I am forever grateful for him :)
