ABI was an Amazing experience. I am a 54 year old retired special education teacher who had a dream to help kids with special needs and adolescents dealing with trauma to find hope through using animal therapy. I found ABI and they had everything I needed to learn how to start my own animal-assisted therapy farm and the knowledge about different species of animals, etc. If you are interested in a career with animals, this is the place for you. If I could give them 10 stars I would!! Thank you ABI for help making my dreams become a reality.

I have learned a great deal through the classes and field experience required for the Animal Assisted Therapy program at the Animal Behavior Institute. The professors communicated well throughout the classes. integrated a multitude of resources for the students' reference and provided support as needed, as did the other ABI staff. Thanks for a great experience.

Excellent preparation for starting my own business as a Feline Behavior Specialist. I have learned so much helpful and vital information. The discussions with fellow students and the professors were extremely valuable.I highly recommend the Animal Behavior Institute.

I'm so happy I had heard about ABI when I did! Not only were their courses ideally priced for me, but the amount of time I had each week to complete discussions or assignments was perfect for me to continue my day job while also studying in a field that had always intrigued but intimidated me. I had taken the Zoo and Aquarium Science Program, and I'm happy to report that all of my professors were very knowledgeable and communicative. Never had I thought I could learn so much about conservation, husbandry and animal enrichment in just six months, and that's only scratching the surface. Though just to give some advice for any potential new students, make sure you're taking notes, it can be a lot to remember sometimes. Aside from this, I would definitely recommend them! Update: Regarding your recent response, I must admit that my professor for Exotic Animal Conservation and Management, as well as for Husbandry and Record keeping, was always incredibly helpful. Really appreciated her teaching!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! I did the Advanced Canine Training program. Before I started taking courses at ABI, I was at my community college just to get my basics done. I didn’t enjoy my time as much there. What I’ve been saying ever since I started ABI is in my community college, I didn’t enjoy my schoolwork and there wasn’t much of it, ABI on the other hand I had a lot of work but I LOVED doing every bit of it! I completed all my classes I need to receive my certification, but couldn’t stop there and am taking one more class this summer! These classes may feel like a lot and it did to me, but in the best possible way and I am now a certified dog trainer and ready to get started with my career!
