In Anaheim, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in California, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 10 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Anaheim is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Anaheim is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This pet self wash/grooming is AMAZING! So clean and cared for the husband and wife owners Julie and Luis put so much thought and care to their business. Julie thought of everything for my pup to feel pampered and even me! I felt supported and appreciated! This is a family owned business that supports the community. They have a photo op and tons of goodies from local bakers. Thank you Julie for sharing your story and I can’t wait to come back!

Great spot! This locally owned business is extremely well maintained and has a great staff. Luis was so welcoming to us and gave us a full run down of the tools and the options. They have great products available, gloves and masks, brushes - really everything you could need. I also really loved the blow dryer here, our dog hates bath time and this was the best he’s responded to the dryer! Probably because they give you a nice headband for their ears. And plenty of treats for after!!!! Really loved this clean and hospitable spot - we will definitely be back for baths and for a grooming appt.

5 stars for an Ideal Dog wash! We took our 75 lb girl here to do the self service wash. This was her first time at any groomers. She is vet shy and was nervous at first. The staff member who helped us was amazing! I forgot to get his name. Our dog was very timid about getting into the tub. He easily picked her up and placed her inside the tub for us. They provide absolutely everything you need including cute aprons to wear, shampoo conditioner perfume, different style brushes. Cotton for the ears. And a rack to place all your dogs belongings. We got her some treats when we finished. They have a treat selection set up like a small panadería. It’s very cute. We will be back. It was so refreshing to have someone so helpful with a timid big dog! :)

We had the best experience bringing Waffles( 8 months corgi) in for his grooming appointment! The staff was so kind, patient, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They treated Waffles with so much care and made sure he felt comfortable the whole time. He came out looking absolutely adorable, clean, and so soft! You can really tell they pay attention to detail and truly care about the dogs they work with. We are so happy with the service and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a loving and professional grooming place! 🐾💙
