My husband and I recently completed the 2 week on and off leash program with our sweet Luna girl✨, and it was absolutely worth the investment. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely care about both the dogs and their owners. We've already seen a huge improvement in our dog's behavior and responsiveness, but one of the biggest surprises was how much the program helped us. We initially thought it was all about building our dog's confidence, but it ended up building our confidence as owners even more. We now feel much more capable of communicating with and handling our dog. The program also includes unlimited group and private classes, which adds tremendous value and gives us the opportunity to continue learning and improving. We are committed to maintaining this training mindset for both ourselves and our dog for the long term. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend this program to anyone looking to strengthen their relationship with their dog while seeing real, lasting results. Thank you to the entire team for everything you've done for our family!

We cannot recommend American Canine Academy enough! We sent our 5-month-old Lab mix, Olive, to their 2-week board and train program, and the results have been nothing short of miraculous. From start to finish, the entire staff was incredible. Every single person we interacted with was knowledgeable, passionate, and deeply invested in Olive's success. Their communication throughout the entire two weeks was fantastic. We absolutely loved the video updates they sent us. It was so reassuring to see her progress and know she was in such excellent hands. Olive was extremely receptive to the training, and since bringing her home, she has been an absolute angel. It’s like she’s a completely different dog! The foundation they built with her is incredible, and she’s listening beautifully. If you are on the fence about sending your dog here, consider this your sign to do it. Thank you so much to the amazing team for taking such good care of Olive!

We needed help with our 1 year old Great Pyrenees mix Lily who was a good girl but was a jumper, leash puller and just a rambunctious dog. We tried doing 12 weeks of Pet Smart training and while she was good it didn’t result in a sustainable results. As recently new parents to a newborn we needed her to be on her best behavior. We reached out to multiple training facilities and toured them. American Canine Academy was by far the most dog friendly, focused and communicative training facility. They provided us with a detailed guide into what the program consisted of and we got weekly report cards with video and summaries. She was loved and treated with the utmost care. We chose the 4 week immersion program and it is so worth the investment for us and Lily. I WOULD recommend this location/team to everyone who wants to see their dog/loved one become a stellar companion. We will be a life long customer with ACA!

We had a really good experience with Milo’s 2-week training program. From the beginning, the team was very supportive and communicative, sending us updates and videos during his stay, which really helped since we missed him so much. When Milo came home, we immediately noticed improvements with commands, structure, place, heel, crate training, and overall behavior inside the house. The trainers took the time to teach us how to continue the training at home and answered all of our questions patiently. What we appreciate the most is that their support did not end after pickup. They have continued helping us with follow-up advice, videos, and offering private lessons whenever needed. It really feels like they care about Milo’s long-term success and not just the training period itself. Milo is still working on reactivity outside around dogs and people, but we understand that consistency and continued practice at home are important, and we appreciate all the guidance they have given us so far. Thank you again to the whole team for all the work, care, and support with Milo!

ACA has provided expert training and care for our dog since he was a puppy. They are caring, thorough, consistent, and effective. Koda loves to board with them and always comes home happy. All of the trainers that have taught Koda have been excellent. And they’ve trained us as well in the skills we need to maintain Koda’s confidence and good behavior. We highly recommend Sean and his team for training, boarding, daycare, and anything else that will ensure your pup is a happy, healthy, well-behaved member of your family.
