Happy that I graduated from the EKG program and I like the program. My instructor Lynda was very thorough and communicated well with the students. She made sure we passed our test after every assignments. I also passed my NCCT exam!!

I went through the process of my externship program with May as my externship coordinator. That is such a great experience. She is so nice and helpful. She answered every questions that I’ve had. Also, she responded my emails very quickly. Thanks to the externship, I have a chance to get a job where I’m working as an extern. I’m so grateful and thank you very much May who has been through with me from the 1st step until now. I would recommend her as a great externship coordinator for future students.

Teacher Appreciation Review (LINDA) It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for this instructor and the experience I had in her class. From the very first day, she created an environment that felt welcoming, supportive, and motivating. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable about EKG, but you can truly feel her passion for it. The way she explains heart rhythms, cardiac conduction, and patient care makes even complex concepts easier to understand. Whenever we needed more clarification, she never rushed us. She was patient, thorough, and always willing to go over the material again until we fully understood it. She made sure no one was left behind. What made her even more special was her personality. She is funny, warm, and relatable — which made learning enjoyable instead of intimidating. She balanced professionalism with humor in a way that kept us engaged and excited to come to class (and yes, her soda breaks were iconic 😊). More than anything, you can tell she truly cares about her students. She cares about our success, our confidence, and our futures in healthcare. She doesn’t just teach EKG — she prepares you to step into the medical field with competence and heart

I completed the Surgical Technology program at Altamont Healthcare, then completed my externship and was able to secure a job as an ST pretty fast, only a month after externship. Liana Dizon the Lead Externship Coordinator was amazing! And really helped me navigate throughout the whole process. From day 1, to helping me secure all required documentation during the program to create my file, to placing me in externship following my completion of the program, to even finding me a job 7 minutes away from home that I was able to successfully secure! She always responds fast and really does all the work for you which just goes to show how much she cares and wants to see you succeed! Couldn't have done much of it without her! So grateful!
