About Aloha Veterinary Center
Aloha Veterinary Center was conceived with the notion of bringing permanent veterinary care to the Big Island of Hawaii. Prior to its inception, all complicated medical and surgical cases were referred to Honolulu. It was the idea of Dr. Trevor Rodrigues, the founder, that such services be available to the local community at reasonable prices and exceptional value.
Since its inception, Aloha Veterinary Center has added Doctors and staff members that share the same "Compassionate Pet Care” vision…always treating the animals that walk through our doors as members of our own family. Here at Aloha Veterinary Center we take pride in our work and strive to offer our clients and their families the most professional, affordable services possible.

I very much recommend this place! They’re well-OK organized, friendly and helpful. The doctor was fantastic and spent time talking over everything with me in great detail and with great care. I’m happy to know this place exists in Hilo.

This was my (and dog's) first vet experience and they made it very quick and easy. They were all super helpful and friendly (professional but local kine aloha) and you can tell they enjoy what they do. I don't have prior experience with pricing so I can't speak on that, but I think it was pretty fair. Would definitely go again as a regular or for emergency!

We had a positive experience at Aloha Veterinary Center. They accepted us on a short notice to see us urgently. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. They were very kind, helpful, and professional. We decided to make this our primary and we highly recommend them. Thank you so much for your care and hard work, we really appreciate you.

I have had the pleasure of being a client of Malia Lyons for 14 years. While still at her previous employment Dr.Lyons assisted, supported and compassionately cared for my soul dog Guardian. Dr. Lyons was straightforward throughout his entire battle till the day he took his last breath in my arms. I transferred to Aloha Vet upon hearing Dr. Lyons was moving there. Aloha Vet has shown my family nothing but utmost respect, support and compassion from their receptionists, vet techs, pharmacists, specialist and Veterinarians. The care they have shown to my babies has been absolutely amazing. I’m grateful for the team at Aloha Vet and the care they shown my babies. Thank you so very much Aloha Vet for your wonderful services.
