In Ferndale, price depends on breed, size, coat condition and temperament: small short-coated dogs cost least, while doodles, poodles and double-coated breeds take longer and cost more, and matting adds a dematting fee. Ask whether the groomer is certified, how dogs are dried (cage dryers versus hand drying), whether rabies vaccination proof is required in Michigan, and how long your pet will stay. Most dogs need a groom every four to eight weeks. Saturdays and the weeks before holidays book up first, so schedule ahead and check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Ferndale is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Ferndale follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Our morkie Harley Quinn looks so cute! She had a full groom and a teeth brushing. I’m too scared to trim her nails and they did a great job. I posted before and after pics. We will definitely bring her back!

They did an amazing job with my (mean) cat Vincent. He had gotten some mats and needed a sanitary trim and they did a fantastic job giving him a lion cut (especially given how spicy he gets). They even booked him for a free second session when they couldn’t get all the work done the first go round. (He looks mad but he’s feeling great.) Highly recommend!

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience here. This was my first time here and they essentially shaved my golden retriever. We asked for them to give him a nice haircut and wash to which they said "a summer cut?" and we agreed in hopes they would know how to appropriately and safely cut each breed. Clearly they did not as he was basically shaved. We sent pictures to our vet and they were appalled that a grooming establishment would do this to a golden retriever and informed us that we would have to be careful with our dog in the sun and with temperature control due to his undercoat being damaged. They also informed us it would most likely grow back matted and uneven. We called and complained quickly after and were told the owner would reach out and of course we never heard anything. Such clear incompetence and unprofessionalism. I have told many people I know to avoid this place and will continue to spread the knowledge. *I have attached before and after photos for reference

First-time client here. I found it strange that we couldn’t walk in, especially since my dog was unfamiliar with the facility and I was told when I made the appointment that I could walk him in. I gave specific verbal details about the cut, and one major request was not to shave his fanny bare, only to trim it. I didn’t want it completely bare, especially because it’s cold. Although I didn’t provide many pictures, the woman I spoke with seemed to understand my request. I even asked if I could write my specific instructions on the agreement before signing so it would be in writing, but I was told it would be fine. I attached photos doesnt look like he had any grooming even with the requested couple inches being removed. Overall, I would go back. However, for future clients, I recommend touring the facility beforehand, bringing detailed pictures, and having all specific requests written on the agreement before signing. UPDATE 2.24.26: Never received a call at all to discuss further. Shameful.

All I can say is WOW!!! I took my Aussie Koda for his first groom here and they were amazing!! So kind and informative. I was nervous for his first groom so they kindly accommodated us and had him come in before the other pups for the day so he can get accustomed to it. I showed them a picture of what I wanted him to look like and understood that his fur is much different than the pictures I showed but they said they would try their best and I must tell you they did even better than the picture!!! He looks so good!! They really helped with his shedding and just took amazing care of him. I’ll always bring him back here! Thank you girls for being so kind and patient with his first groom! You all rock ❤️
