This was my first visit here and was immediately taken with the decor and warmth of the space. Alexandra, and her sweet rescue dog Willow, made me feel comfortable right away, and she did an excellent job with my wax. I will be back for sure!

This was without any exaggeration by far the best facial treatment experience I've ever had. I received loads of conscious attention and generous care from Alexandra. The environment was so relaxing and the products of very high quality. One of the things I really dislike about the wellness industry is that, often, we only focus on the customer experience and not the relation between them and the person who offers care, ignoring that the latter can be overworked, poorly paid and exploited, especially in big wellness companies. This is another reason why I think this experience was so amazing. Alexandra is running her own business and is her own boss. This brings a different intentionality and emotional capacity to care for those who choose her. Thank you Alexandra!

I initially went to Alexandra’s Muse to try their facials and I’m happy to keep going back. The environment Alexandra and Mallory have for their clients is very calming and relaxing. I loved the service I got on my first muse facial that I recommend my sister try out their massages and she says it’s one of the best massages she has gotten. A very cozy experience and the services are very tailored to the clients. I can’t wait to try out their other services outside of the muse facials.

I've been enjoying facials from Alexandra for many years - I always book the longer "Belizean Rain" to get the full benefit of the peel & extractions that leave my skin super-luminous, and the soothing mask & other steps afterward make for a totally relaxing experience. More recently I got a deep tissue massage from Kari for the first time, which was absolutely amazing - she really worked out some crunchy knots in my shoulder. So now I will be going back twice as frequently for facials *and* massages. These ladies really know how to pamper!

I used to see Alexandra regularly when I lived in the East Bay, and even though I’m now based in San Francisco, I still make the trip across the Bay Bridge traffic to see her. Her studio is a calming, peaceful sanctuary, and Alexandra herself is one of the warmest, kindest people I’ve ever met. One session years ago that really stayed with me was when she gifted me crystals after learning my uncle had passed away — such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that shows how deeply she cares about her clients as people. She gives truly incredible facials, and the massages that come with them are rejuvenating for the whole body and spirit. I’ve never had another esthetician pay such close attention to detail or be so in tune with what my skin actually needs. Her technique and level of care really set her apart. My husband even had his first-ever facial with her, and it was so satisfying to see everything she was able to extract! Also, bonus: she has the sweetest little rescue pup who sometimes makes an appearance and adds to the already good vibes. Highly recommend Alexandra’s Muse — totally worth the drive, every time.
