Alchemy Dog Training

Do NOT even bother.I took our Golden puppy there for training...took MONTHS to set it up bc they never called back. The training was inconsistent...different people would show up and give different advice. The worst was how the owner spoke to a sweet couple with their dog who was at the end of her first heat...she berated them for not having the dog wear panties saying the pheromones would make the older dogs nuts ...um... pheromones are secreted via the SKIN...not the genitals...as an MD, I know. The owner was so ugly to these people that they left and never came back...Can't say I blame them...no one should EVER speak to customers like that. Avoid this place.

My wife and I go here once a week with our Sammy to get some training for the dog show. The trainer knows what she’s doing. She makes it really fun and the classes are small so she’s able to get to everyone multiple times. We only go on Mondays where classes start at 4 and end at 8. As for pricing… It’s $10 for one class or $30 for four classes. Whether or not you’re putting your dog in the show if you have a puppy I recommend you take them here so that they can get some good in person training .

We've taken our dogs to Alchemy for almost 20 yrs. Anne and her team do an excellent job of teaching both owners and dogs the behavior fundamentals and etiquette needed to take your dog out in public and/or pursue dog sports.

Booked an at home training session for my dog a week in advance and gave the address to our apartment complex. The day of she texted me at 5:20 confirming the address which I then again confirmed with her and let her know the exact location. She apparently entered the apartment complex at 5:52 PM and said she didn’t know which apartment was ours to which six minutes later I gave her the building and door number. She never once tried to call and confirm and then at 6:09 (only 9min into the appointment) I received a text message stating that she had a long week and long day so that the information I gave her was too little too late and she went home. So disgustingly unprofessional. She then didn’t respond to and calls or texts after.

A fantastic training team and a great program. We are very pleased with the outcome. Our pup was just 3mo at basic obedience enrollment and will be a great well mannered canine citizen upon graduation. Excellent choice!
