We walked in the other day to celebrate the graduation of JoelL at the AHW Barber Academy, and were very pleasantly surprised to see a happy and thriving place, where students come to learn and support each other. What a wonderful atmosphere!! Everybody gathered around for Joel’s graduation, taking pictures together, hugs, laughter and joy. We got to see Joel in action, giving a fellow student a haircut: happy and professional, in his element. Well done y’all!!

Always a great cut. The students and instructors at the school are very skilled and personable, and they don’t let ya leave until they get you right. Shoutout to Maui and Joel for the cuts! And also shoutout to BB, Koda, Mr. P and the whole gang for the vibes!

A few weeks ago, I had the most amazing facial with Sawyer. It was the most relaxing 45 minutes of hot towels and cool massaging therapy I’ve ever had! If I lived in Pensacola, I’d be in here every week!! Although, these are students in training, they are assisted by the watchful eye of instructors teaching them to be their best! I love this place and I’m going back soon. Photos next time, too👍🏼

I gotta give my floor instructor his flowers. Joe — you didn’t just teach me how to cut. You listened. You let me explain how I learn, and instead of brushing it off, you adjusted your whole approach to help me grow. Then you went on to show me ways to cut faster and smarter than I ever had before. When school got tough and life was life’n, you gave me not one ear but two. And when I felt like I was standing alone, you reminded me my brother was literally sitting right next to me. People say six months isn’t a long time… I’d argue that definition. Because in six months you’ve been an instructor, a coach, and a brother. And you know me — titles don’t impress me. Making my family proud does. My real test wasn’t a grade… it was getting you to finally stop touching my clippers before I came off that floor. Once you gave me that trust, it unlocked a different confidence in me as a barber. Thank you for the knowledge. Thank you for the trust. And thank you for always campaigning for me when you knew I wouldn’t say anything to disturb the energy you were building in the schoolhouse. Christian did an amazing job with my haircut! He really listened to what I wanted, paid attention to every detail, and made sure I left completely satisfied. The cut looks fantastic and the whole experience was easy and comfortable. Highly recommend Christian! I’ll definitely be coming back!
