Bryan is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bryan follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I had adopted a kitten from here they said he was fine and just needed to finish his anti diarrheal before he was adopted out. I picked him up but he was still having constant diarrhea and was loosing weight, I took him to the vet and he had tapeworms that weren’t treated. Went through the whole round of treatment and then turns out he had many other issues that have cost me over $500 from my pocket to treat after i was given a cat that should have been ready and suitable for adoption. I’ve been apart of many rescues and fostering, so i’ve been talking to my peers in the industry and they have all agreed that he should have never been up for adoption instead he should have been getting medical treatment.

Maybe they are a good place to adopt a dog from, I'm not sure. But our family dog ended up here and we were not allowed to pick him up, but when we did, he ended up having a UTI/bladder infection and we later learned they did not let him out of his kennel for 10 days! A TRAINED DOG. he held in his pee for so long he ended up with an infection and we ended up with an expensive vet bill - and the vet said this things happens a lot with dogs from Aggieland Humane Society. not usually one to leave a negative review but wow I can't imagine neglected a trained dog so badly and forcing it to pee in its kennel. trained dogs don't do that. very upset about how this was handled and got no apology

My observation: Too many employees standing around waiting(?) for work to do. Met the Executive Director who was in a casual dress and 2" pumps...huh?As many kittens there are that need homes, they want $100 per kitten! I am going to a different place to get my new kittens, and I cannot wait! Their partner company who cremated my Sebastian did an excellent job. I am very pleased with that, just not going to get my new kittens there. Sad, really.

They DONT TAKE WALK-INS. Make sure you make an appointment or call ahead of time. Don't waste your time like I did. I had 4 cats in crates and they said there was nothing they could do. They told me to fill out a form and they would get back to me with an appointment time and this would take up to a week. 😰😬

This is a wonderful place to adopt your next family member! We have adopted two "fur babies" from this facility over the past year and they are so loved now in their forever home. Please chose this shelter if you are considering adopting a new cat or dog. Please adopt instead of supporting puppy mills.
