After doing lots of research for a dog training company that would be reasonably priced and would be a “at home” training program. I found affordable compassionate dog training. From day one Avi made it clear of the methods he uses and his philosophy and it was exactly what I was looking for. Posie a Jack terrier Russel puppy has been doing an amazing job these past couple of weeks. Avi has taught me how to connect with her and teach her. If anything he is training me to be the best for her (lol). I love that he’s able to come to your location and do the trainings in a setting that is everyday life for her. Not some boarding school. Definitely recommend him!

Avi has been extremely helpful to my husband and I with dog training Jamie, our mini Bernedoodle, who is 4 months old and has common struggles with biting, separation anxiety, leash pulling, and overstimulation. We are happy that we found him and he has taught us so much about how to react in stressful situations and help us guide our puppy in his learning. Avi has built a great connection with Jamie. He's shown us how intelligent our little guy is and what he needs most from us. We have seen the growth in Jamie. In our sessions, now we see him thinking and making good decisions which makes us extremely proud and grateful that we have Avi's training. He's helped us understand that we both have to be on the same page with Jamie and provide rules and boundaries but that we can enjoy training him and also make sure that we let Jamie know when he is making good choices. Jamie's confidence has grown so much throughout. Avi has also given us great recommendations for toys and tools to use at home when we practice our homework exercises. Avi has been amazing to work with. My dog Buddy is so happy to see him each time he arrives for his training session. Avi is calm, kind, patient, communicates clearly and is helping me so much by teaching me not only the techniques to help Buddy but to also make sure I understand the why. I love that his focus is on my relationship and building trust with Buddy. Buddy is learning so much, enjoying the learning process, and being a happier and calmer dog in between sessions. Avi was also super helpful in providing a recommendation for a groomer that had experience working with rescue dogs which ended in another great experience for Buddy. For so many reasons Avi has been great to work with and he’s Buddy approved too!!!

We looked for a trainer because our dog Pochacco reacted badly to driving cars and he struggled with pulling on the leash. It was very hard to take him for a walk; he escaped once and ran to the main street. We were so lucky that he didn’t get hurt. We had tried different approaches, but none worked. I contacted Avi and he returned my call after few minutes. He listened very tentatively when I described all the issues about my dog, he told me that his behavior was fixable, he gave me hope. On the first session, he analyzed our behavior as well, not just the dog.  He explained to us how our fears and worries are passed on to our dog; that’s the main reason for his behavior. We made so much progress in only two sessions. We are looking forward to learning more from him. Avi is very kind and patient to our family and dog. We feel very fortunate that we found him. We highly recommend him for his professionalism and compassion. Avi you are an amazing person, thank you!

We had a great experience working with Avi. He is patient, knowledgeable, and really took the time to understand both our dog’s behavior and needs. The training methods were clear and effective, and we saw noticeable improvements in our dog’s impulse control and confidence in a short amount of time. He also explained everything in a way that was easy for us to follow and provided recaps of our sessions and homework so we felt confident continuing the training throughout the week. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and professional trainer.
