We rescued a sweet border collie mix, but she was very reactive and scared of everything. She was so reactive, she was making our older dog reactive in response and walks were miserable for us. She is not treat motivated, where my other dog is, and I was getting no where by myself. After she had training with Kayla, she is a new dog! She is doing so much better and Kayla was walking her near other dogs after a few sessions. I almost cried when I heard that. It has changed our life! We are now going hiking with her and if there is a trigger that is getting her anxious now we have the tools to fix it. We also are training our older dog with what we have learned. Could not recommend Kayla enough! This was so amazing for us. My husband and I also have weird hours and she was able to accommodate some changes with drop off which was great.

My dog and I learned SO much with Bradyn’s help. 10/10 recommend this training center to anyone. She helped my dog with near crippling anxiety, leash skills and so much more. Although it’s not cheap I felt like it was 100% worth it and I’d make the same decision to send my dog there in a heartbeat. They’re simply wonderful!

This has been the best experience for my pup, Beretta. She has learned how to be with other dogs, go into public spaces, and has hiked more places in our area than I have! She is happily tuckered out when she returns from her adventure day and best of all, I fully trust that she is safe and in expert care. I cannot say enough about the quality, kindness and overall work ethic of the two women owners. Thank you!

AdventureK9Academy has completely changed our (and Mochi’s) lives for the better! Our corgi, Mochi, is an energetic, curious little fluff ball, and finding a daycare that could match her spirit felt impossible—until we found this amazing place. Easily 5/5 stars (I'd give more if I could)! Kayla and Bradyn are highly skilled, professional, easy to work with, compassionate dog trainers. They use Fear Free methods that are both humane, as well as highly effective for training dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. For us, this meant helping our Frenchie puppy, Stitch, have the most incredible socialization experience starting in early puppyhood and still continuing on throughout his adolescence. It takes a village to raise a puppy, with these trainers being invaluable in helping me to raise mine as he continues his journey towards becoming a service dog. I love that their training and socialization are done in a way that makes it fun for the dogs and creates an adventure that leaves your dog happily tired (and better behaved) at the end of the day. For us, Adventure Canine Academy was instrumental in helping us to raise a confident, well behaved, highly sociable puppy. Stitch's experience with their trainers replaced the traditional puppy class and created an even more controlled, carefully orchestrated socialization experience that was so much better than what I could find elsewhere.
