It is with a great deal of pleasure that I highly recommend Active K9 and Sam. The knowledge and patience Sam displays with dog owners is exceptional(after all we all know we train the owner to train the dog).

I reached out to gather more information on prices of services, training methods used and the trainers background. I have had a handful of bad experiences with people who call themselves trainers in the past and because of this like to do my research. This industry isn’t regulated and there are a lot of people out there who just want to take your money. I was told that in order to have any of my questions answered, I needed to book a 29m consult at the cost of $40. In order to book a consult you have to create a page on their forum which includes vaccination records and pet profile among other things. As it was late at night, I did not have vaccination records on hand but the site allowed me to book telling me that if I wanted to continue with training I would need to provide vaccination information. Okay, that makes sense a consult is mostly just talking it is not training. My appointment was left pending. I had a crazy work week so I didn’t think to check my profile on their forum for messages but thought I would receive a text or email once it had been confirmed or if there were any issues. I never did. I checked the forum the morning of the day of my appointment to see if any

5-stars and my highest regards for Samantha and her incredible team at ActiveK9! We welcomed our first dog—a 9 week male Goldendoodle pup—back in September of 2023 and promptly enrolled him in ActiveK9's program. Thank goodness we did! Puppies are fun but lots of work, and we've had an absolute blast learning together and watching B grow. Samantha runs a tight ship and the results are SO worth it; every dog is approved before entering the program and everyone—humans included—must follow the rules (and do their homework). They offer Montessori Dog School (structured daycare with training sessions) from 8am-6pm Mon-Fri, along with evening group classes that cover topics like Basic Obedience, Confidence, Agility and more. They also have on-site grooming & boarding options available. Aside from getting him in the first place, signing B up for doggy school & group classes at ActiveK9 has been the best decision we've made. He LOVES school and attending evening classes together has been the best way to bond and build trust together. If you've made the wonderful decision to add a canine companion to your family, you should absolutely invest the time & money into helping them be the best
