We’ve been taking our dogs to Academy of Animal Arts and Sciences for the past few years, and they’ve been consistently outstanding. Every time we pick them up, they look absolutely amazing. You can tell they really care about the pets they groom, and the quality of their work shows. I honestly can’t give them enough stars. If you’re looking for a groomer who does an incredible job and treats your pets with care, I highly recommend Academy of Animal Arts and Sciences. Your furry family members will come home looking fantastic!

When we moved here 35 + years ago, one of my priorities was finding a groomer for our Kerry Blue Terrier. That’s when I found Grooming by Teri. My sweet puppy boy was always happy after his spa day and looked picture perfect! Fast forward 7 dogs later, I am still more than satisfied with what has now become the Academy of Animal Arts and Sciences. Teri and her crew of students always make sure my Standard Poodle and Golden Minidoodle have a stress free grooming experience. Even though the students graduate out of the program every 16 weeks, the grooming “staff” is always excellent because they are learning from the best!! All of this at a reasonable price point!

I had an amazing experience attending this grooming academy. Teri is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and genuinely passionate about helping students succeed. As a student, I felt supported every step of the way and gained much hands-on experience and confidence in my grooming skills. The curriculum was well-structured, and the environment was professional, welcoming, and encouraging. I truly appreciated what I learned here and would highly recommend this academy to anyone looking to start a career in pet grooming. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made!

I am a disabled veteran, and this school has helped me by accepting the Post 9-11 GI Bill. Terri is such an amazing teacher, especially having not come from a dog background. I am proud to say that I have taken 2 courses here, and am on my 3rd course. I went from being nervous, to feeling confident and capable. Terri's calm demeanor really helps out when your stressed or nervous during a groom. The real deal dog whisperer.

I just graduated from the Academy of Animal and I could not have had a more pleasant experience. Teri and Rick are kind incredible people, I felt welcome from the moment i stepped in for the tour to the moment I graduated. Teri is an amazing groomer with tons of experience and learning from her was truly a blessing. They really set you up for success, teaching you the fundamentals of grooming, how to use the tools, and giving you dogs to work on every day with Teri guiding you through the process and letting you learn and grow at your own pace. I am so very grateful for everything they’ve done for me, I was able to graduate from the academy and get multiple job offers in the grooming field.
