Fort Myers is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fort Myers follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Academy Kennels took great care of our dogs during their overnight boarding. You can tell they care deeply for each animal in their care, and they took the time to ensure peace of mind for us before we dropped them off. We will definitely be coming back!

I am so grateful for Academy Kennels and what they do for my Venus. The staff has truly been there to take care of my dog who is family to us, in the good and the most emotionally torn times. My Doberman was very antisocial and shy at first, but the staff encouraged playtime without pressure. Whenever she stays, I request a bath and nail clippings for her, she comes back brand new. I felt so comfortable knowing that she was in good hands. My dog barely says bye to me when she walks through the door because she is so happy to be at Academy Kennels!! Btw, I really love the reports they send and super helpful and friendly supportive staff!! 😊😊

There are so many things we love about Academy Kennels. They are so accommodating with our special needs dog and care for him like he is one of their own. I love that they have indoor and outdoor runs for boarding and have so many other services. It is a great place! Thank you to the team for all you do!

Following a distressing experience at another dog daycare, where our dog became severely ill and nearly lost her life, we were understandably hesitant to try again. However, we eventually decided to place our trust in Academy Kennels, and they've exceeded every expectation we had. On our dog’s first day, we were understandably anxious, but the staff’s professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness immediately reassured us. The facility was exceptionally clean, and every staff member we encountered was warm, gentle, and genuinely engaged with both us and our dog. Our decision to return to dog daycare stemmed from our dog’s severe separation anxiety; we hoped it would provide her with a healthy and stimulating environment during the day while we worked. Academy Kennels has not only met but surpassed this hope, offering her playtime, affection, and consistent routine. When we picked her up after her first day, she was as happy, if not happier, than when we dropped her off, and it was clear she was thriving. One aspect we greatly value is the thorough and transparent daily report provided by Academy Kennels, detailing her activities, behavior, and overall well-being. We are deeply gratef
