Five years ago, when we moved from Arizona to New Mexico, one of my biggest worries was finding someone I could trust with my cats. Then I found Brooke, and I have never looked back. Around our house, she has earned the title of "The Cat Whisperer." All four of my cats see Brooke, and they come home calm, happy, soft as clouds, and smelling amazing. The salon is spotless, peaceful, and I love that it is cat-exclusive. No barking dogs or added stress, just an environment created for cats. Brooke has an incredible eye for detail and can groom your cat just the way you want. Whether it is a full shave, a trim, cat nail caps on both the front and back paws, a bath, or a custom lion cut, everything comes out perfect. Then there is my "big-boned" fluffy boy. His coat grows at record speed, mats if you even look at it wrong, and, let us just say... sometimes his fluffy backside gets into a disagreement with the litter box. 😂 Brooke never bats an eye. She gets him cleaned up, brushed out, and looking like he just walked off the cover of a cat magazine. Every. Single. Time. As you can see from the before-and-after photos, he looks like he lost ten pounds! Shmoo's lion cut deserves its own r

Hello, I am Cotton, a long hair. I give ABQ Cat Grooming 7 stars because they man-handled me in the wisest of ways and I felt loved and safe. Now I'm washed and trimmed all around. I especially enjoyed having my face washed there. No joking intended

We took our boy Jellybean for a deshed and full groom earlier this week and we're still amazed by how soft he is and how good he smells days later! We decided to take him in because he started having hairballs and our brushing at home wasn't cutting it. He's gotten really stressed while just getting his nails trimmed at places with dogs, so we decided to try a cat exclusive groomer for his deshed and are so happy that we did! Him coming home already calm and relaxed was a huge win for us :) They were pretty busy already when we got there, but were still able to get started on Jellybean right away. It was his first time getting fully groomed, so we weren't really sure what to expect, but seeing how quickly and skillfully they handled him while clipping his nails assured me that he was in good hands. Given how busy they were and what their standard groomings entail, I was incredibly impressed by how proactive they were in communicating a (short) unexpected delay, and giving us timing updates as they came in. When we got home, Jellybean got out of his carrier and immediately went back to his normal playtime and snuggling routine, not at all stressed or trying to hide like he would

We brought my senior CKD girl, Queenie, to this location for a lion cut to address matting on her back legs and stomach after failing to handle it ourselves at home. We worried she would fight, resist, or become nervous beyond what a groomer could or would handle. Despite this being her first visit for grooming of any kind, Queenie did well and came home beautiful and mat-free! The owners are lovely professionals who clearly take their work seriously. She was finished in the exact time frame estimated (3 hrs), and the cost was very reasonable for the amount of time spent and delicate work performed. She got lots of love and compliments. Queenie is naked but feeling much better, and immediately went back to her snacks and treats once we got home. I highly recommend ABQ Cat Grooming for your speciality grooming needs.

I took both of my cats here and they did an absolutely wonderful job! They took very good care of my cats and had no problems with them! My groomers name is Brooke and she is such a pleasant person to be around and she takes her job seriously. I will be going back when it’s time for my kitties to get their haircut
