Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

Toledo is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Toledo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

These people knew and understood my concerns right away about Astro. They did not dismiss me, they listened to me. Astro bites blow dryers, dremels, literally anythingotorized he tries attacking. His previous groomer we took him to did not bother to listen to me and then acted surprised and shocked when she had to call it quits because she 'couldnt handle him' and didn't even blow his coat out or properly trim his grinch feet and nails. I'll be bringing Astro back here every 4 weeks per their recommendations so they can continue to work with him. He did not have a good start on life, all I can do is work on the aftermath. This is just one of those steps and I needed a groomer that understood the assignment and boy did Kat understand the assignment! ❤️

There was an incident with our TWC resulting in a bite injury. We were immediately informed upon arrival. Needless to say I was very upset. The owner reached out to me directly. She was kind and professional explaining to me that it can happen from time to time. We agreed on a solution and I felt her sincerity for my dog. Thank you and I'm sure Remi will heal quickly!

I do not enjoy writing negative reviews so I have put this task off for several months. I am doing it now for the sake of other dog owners. I wish I had read all the reviews. We boarded our 4 yr old Weimaraner and 10 yr old Morkie here last October for 8 days while we were in California. It was truly a traumatic experience for both myself and the dogs. I wasn’t allowed to tour the facility in advance, which concerned me, but we were in need of a place for them and time was short. When I came to pick them up after our trip, our Weimaraner was desperate to leave and couldn’t even focus her eyes on me for a couple days. She had lost a couple pounds at least. Our Morkie had dried poop all over his rear end and I had to ask the guy who brought them out to me for something to clean him up with before putting him into my car. When I pointed out the situation to him he said “Yeah, I think he had diarrhea”. I had to bathe and scrub him when we got home. It was several days before they seemed ok. The whole thing made me ill and sick with guilt. It was so bad that I don’t plan to ever board my dogs at any facility ever again and we have boarded our many dogs many times over the last 35 years

Firstly I'm going to explain a little about my pup, Freya is a very hyper 1 year old German Shepard. We rescued her after being abandoned not once but twice. She had been neglected and possibly abused. This girl has issues!! That being said Toledo Pet Farm was fantastic.. I didn't receive pictures daily as requested however the ones I did get were amazing.. Freya had never been to doggy daycare so I was very concerned about her getting overwhelmed.. but the staff reassured me that she would only be allowed to join in if she passed her temperament test, and that she would be placed in a group that matched her energy level. When I picked her up, I was very late as we had some vehicle issues and the lady at the front desk was wonderful in letting me pick her up after hours for a minimal fee.. as I really missed her and couldn't wait till the next day.. Now I will say I read many reviews before bringing her, some good and some bad. No, this place is NOT Drs office clean, Yes, It definitely smells of animals, and Yes the staff doesn't spend a lot of time with you. However they prioritize your fur babies over trying to humanize the decor, They make the environment pet friendly vs eat o

We've been taking our newly adopted two year old AmStaff, Velma, to the Toledo Pet Farm for daycare, boarding, and grooming. The staff is top-notch and always provide a thorough detailed report of how Velma behaved during her stay. Being a high energy dog, I was concerned with her behavior during daycare, but the staff is attentive and ensured she played respectfully with all the other dogs. The site has both an inside and outside daycare area so the weather is not an issue. Given Velma's desire to run and play, she does get considerably dirty during day care - which is to be expected when she is running around outside with a pack of dogs all day (especially during the summer). As a result, we usually opt to get her bathed before we pick her up from boarding or after taking her to daycare a couple times/week. It is super convenient to have one location for boarding/daycare and grooming! When we first got Velma, she hated baths and the blow dryer. However, the very caring staff at the Pet Farm have patiently worked with Velma so that now she *enjoys* getting groomed. They do a great job ensuring she comes home smelling and looking fantastic (and the prices are fantastic). We've been
