A Cut Above

We’ve come here for the last time. THREE times now our dog has come home with at least one of her nails cut too short and bleeding. The first two times we weren’t even told it happened and found our dog bleeding at home, taking her to the vet twice to check her out. Today was a different person grooming her so I thought we would have a better outcome. I didn’t even want to come back after the first time it happened, but I understand mistakes happen and since the employee who did it was gone, we thought we would give them another chance. We were at least told about the mistake this time, but if our dog was misbehaving or not cooperating to the point her nails couldn’t safely be cut, then stop grooming and let us know. It’s extremely upsetting that three times in a row now she’s been injured. We will not be coming back and we do not recommend

Well well well this is our dog mia she’s 11, took her to this place and this has been our girl since she’s gotten home from there. I’m not making this post for any other reason but for what it’s worth. When I picked her up from getting groomed, Alicia I can’t say how many times told me if anything is wrong call her, Well miss Alicia we have called quite a few times and to be honest you’re completely rude. Let me tell ya ma’am we are looking for zero money I want absolutely nothing from you our that business. All I want is the truth that’s all. You was so fast to tell my wife get a lawyer you already have one. Smh shame on you. It’s literally come down to a life and death situation with her. We have possibly 2 options 1 amputate her leg or put her down. I personally took Mia to the vet exactly 2 weeks before her grooming appointment and the vet very clearly said she’s perfectly healthy. Well now she’s lost so much weight, won’t eat nor drink, we literally have to carry her outside and back inside. Mind you she was a dog that would need to be put on a runner well now she no longer needs said runner due to the fact she’s literally dying day by day. We are working with our vet to hopef

We have been going to Aleshia for almost 20 years now. She is knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a professional grooming for their pets. I have many friends who take their pets to A Cut Above.

Alesia did an amazing job with Mochi! I so appreciated how she called me to let me know Emily wasn't going to be able to groom Mochi as scheduled! Either her or Emily both do professional and neat job of my boy!

Alicia was amazing with my ACD mix. I got her from the shelter and as a result of being abandoned, she had urine scald. Alicia was thorough about getting as much urine out of her fur as possible without shaving her. I was so nervous about leaving my baby somewhere for so long, but when I went to pick her up, she was just chilling Alicia. Didn’t seem stressed or unhappy. She seemed like she was treated very well. Not to mention she smelled AMAZING. Fair prices, very friendly and dog-experienced groomers. Overall I’m very very happy with my experience and will be returning.
