About 7 Paws A Week
We are a dog boarding, daycare and grooming facility in Streamwood.
Located at 1540 Brandy Pkwy, Streamwood, IL 60107, 7 Paws A Week operates as a dog daycare serving Streamwood in Illinois. In Streamwood, daycares and kennels usually ask for proof of rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccinations and a short temperament test before the first stay. Across Illinois, holiday weekends and summer book out weeks ahead, so reserve early and ask about pickup windows, which can be shorter on Sundays. Pet sitters and walkers should be insured and bonded; ask for references and a meet-and-greet first. Check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 68 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded dog daycare in Streamwood.
Streamwood is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Streamwood follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Been taking my boys here for years and both them and I absolutely love it. Staff is super friendly and take great care of my dogs. I love the photos and videos they post for daycare, would definitely recommend this place to others.

My 6 month old puppy Cal has been going to a different doggy daycare for about 3 months now and loves it. Unfortunately they’re understaffed which means less dogs can be accommodated which is why I started looking at other daycares. I called and was told to get cal in for an evaluation to see how he responds to other dogs, which I expected. When I walked in and told them we were there for the evaluation the man at the front said “okay” and went to grab Cal’s leash out of my hand to bring him back. No explanation, no introduction, no tour of the building (you can not see where your dog will spend their day from just walking in the front). I had to stop him and ask if I could see where they were taking him or if they have a plan for what he would be doing while there. The man chuckled and explained he would be in a crate to start (next to what sounded like 30 other hysterically barking dogs) and then he would be slowly introduced to different sizes of dogs. Against my instinct I left and came back after this 2 hour evaluation. Upon picking him up a very nice front desk girl (who didn’t even do his evaluation) told me he was good with humans but showed dominance and aggression towards

We used to love this place and have spent thousands over the past year. I wish I didn't have to rate it so low, but things seemed to have changed in the past few months. Our lab had been going since he was a puppy. Doesn't have a mean bone in his body—family, friends, and strangers have commented on his sweet disposition. 7 Paws even told us he plays with dogs others won't play with. Needless to say we were surprised when they twice claimed he was aggressive with another dog. He's never displayed ANY aggression and they couldn't say what happened or why. Besides, many times he came home with scabs and it never was a concern of theirs then. There are also no webcams available to the public. It left us questioning the staff's level of training and the level of supervision overall. After the second "incident", with no previous warning, we got two differing stories from different workers on what to expect for any future visit. I wish I could say this was the first time we received mixed messages. We reached out twice for clarification—no response. I was shocked when I next picked him up and found he was in a room the size of a closet for the whole visit. He was crying, desperate to g

I just adopted a 14-week-old puppy who I adore, but it is so bitterly cold and snowy out that there is no way I can safely walk him. That’s why 7 Paws a Week has been a Godsend! There is no way I would be able to provide my puppy the same outlet for energy and socialization that they do, especially in such frigid weather. When we arrive he is so excited and happy. When I bring him home he is exhausted and sleeps happily (see photo). As a bonus, his socialization and self-confidence have grown considerably. One of my favorite parts is checking their Facebook page during the day to see photos and videos of the dogs having a blast. The staff is friendly and I can tell they all love the dogs there.
