5 Star Dog Training OKC

Over the years and with various dogs I have had multiple trainers. From Petsmart classes to private trainers. Let me tell you why 5 Star is the best experience so far. We have a large Rottweiler who was trained as a service dog but was still super reactive with any other dog. We 1st saw the trainer, Lucas, with a few people walking their dogs off leash in Scissortail Park in OKC. When I explained my situation he said he could fix everything in 1 lesson. The 1st lesson he stopped have an aggressive reaction to other dogs. Let me tell you what sets this program apart. It's not only that Lucas will come to your house and that he creates a specific training program for your needs. It's not that he always remembers everyone's name. It's not even the way he constantly encourages you as you are training. It's hands down the after training support. He has a class EVER THURSDAY that you will always be able to attend. You will become part of a training family for as long as you want to be. Tonight we played musical chairs and our Rottie was super close to about 15 dogs with 0 reactions. I highly recommend 5 Star & I hope to see you in class soon. Trust me it'll be worth it.

I worked with Lukas and Jaimie at 5 Star Dog Training to train my dog Brownie, and the results have been impressive. Before training, she struggled with consistency—especially in public settings—but they quickly identified the gaps and built a clear, structured plan. What stood out most was their approach: they don’t just train the dog, they train the owner. They explained the “why” behind every correction and behavior, which made it much easier to reinforce everything at home. Within a short time, Brownie became more focused, responsive, and overall much calmer. They’re professional, patient, and genuinely care about long-term results, not quick fixes. If you’re looking for trainers who combine structure with real understanding of dog behavior, I highly recommend them.

I brought my two older dogs here. My dog Courage is 11 years old with behavioral issues with people and dogs. 5 star has definitely helped me with him building up his confidence in unsure situations. It’s never too late and I would recommend coming here to anyone.

Lukas and 5 Star Dog Training OKC do a great job with their dog training programs!!! Lukas took our dog, Hank, who was pretty wild and crazy as a big, 65 pound dog, and totally transformed Hank’s behavior and responsiveness to commands over a 3 month training program… Hank loves to walk and performs perfectly in position for long walks. Lukas has a genuine love for the dogs he trains while putting the dog parents at ease in helping them gain confidence in better handling their dogs. In addition to the excellent training programs, we have boarded Hank with Lukas on numerous occasions. It is easy to see that Hank is very comfortable with Lukas and team due to their genuine care for your dog which is incredibly comforting to know. Great job, Lukas, and keep it going! Kristen Hillis

Well where do I start. Lukas took Maxx (my doggie) and I on as a client. I rescued Maxx as a baby that someone just threw out. Before I met Lukas, we had sent him a trainer and he was gone for 30 days from our home when we got him back the first thing he did when he got home was pee in the house. Yes, he knew the basic of commands But he’s also a very high prey drive dog. A friend of mine recommended Lukas we arrived at Lukas‘s place and within 15 minutes Maxx understood how to walk with a leash . I work with Maxx every single day to train his brain. He goes every place with me. He goes to volleyball tournaments. He goes to the coffee shop with me every single person that we run into loves him and tells me how amazingly trained and well behaved he is.. Maxx I only wish that I had met Lukas first however, Lukas knows exactly what he’s doing. All you need to do is listen and apply the techniques that he shows you people tell me all the time that they would like for me to train their dog. I’m not a dog trainer professionally but I’ve never had this type of bond with a dog my entire life and I’ve had multiple dogs he will not run off for me. He will not leave the front yard. He wi
