About 4 Paws Unleashed

4 Paws Unleashed is a pet groomer in Clive, Iowa. It is listed at 15303 Hickman Rd, Clive, IA 50325, which places it among the local businesses of Clive that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Pet groomers bathe, brush, trim and style dogs and cats, and most also clip nails, clean ears and express anal glands. A full groom usually includes a bath, blow-dry, haircut and tidy-up; a bath-and-brush package skips the haircut and suits short-coated breeds. Salon groomers work from a shop with tubs and drying stations, mobile groomers bring a fitted van to your driveway, which is easier on anxious, elderly or reactive pets, and self-service dog washes rent a raised tub, shampoo and dryer by the session. Cat groomers handle lion cuts and matted coats with calmer, quieter setups, and many salons offer add-ons such as teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, blueberry facials and paw balm.

so this happened about 2 months ago. This review is specifically around their dog grooming. My dog has been to their boarding/daycare and has never had an issue I dropped off my dog for a grooming session. He's a larger golden doodle and very friendly with people and dogs. I would say the look/cut of the grooming itself is average. They've missed some spots and cut too short in some spots but for the price, I can't complain too much. My big issue was the last time I dropped off my dog. He sustained some type of injury while in their care. He basically "walked" out of their limping. To the point where when he went outside to pee, he basically just layed on his stomach. The groomer said nothing happened and she was surprised that he couldn't walk. Yes, I said couldn't walk. Not a slight limp or limp. He physcially hurt him to walk. I had to carry him to the car and into the house where he basically stayed in one spot for 2 days. I took him to the vet. Luckily, there was nothing permanantly wrong. The vet indicated it could have been him falling off the grooming table. But it certainly wasn't something that occurred natuarlly....there was some sort of trauma that occu

I took my boy, Zeke, to this daycare for two years. I recently moved out of state otherwise I’d keep taking him there! Wonderful staff and he was ALWAYS excited to go to daycare. They took great care of him and did a great job with him during bath time! His coat was always shiny and pretty when they freshened him up! ❤️ Also, great prices ! This daycare will be missed!

Take our elderly dog there for nail grinding and the girls are the sweetest people on earth! So caring and nice! Our dog is hard of hearing and 17 but they treat her like their own and are so gentle! Best place and best staff!

I use the Clive location. They do grooming, doggie daycare and boarding. We primarily use the grooming service, as our pups are all small. Lead groomer is great. They took Christmas pics of my babies. Great place.

Both of my dogs love 4 Paws! My German Shepherd is terrified of water, and 4 Paws is the only place that can give her a bath!( I think the groomer's name is Sarah). My GSD is slow to warm-up, but has really taken to the staff. I love watching the dogs on the live feeds, I always know that they are safe and having a good time. I would completely recommend them.
