Stamford is in Connecticut, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Stamford is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Connecticut's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We had such a great experience with 203K9! Rex completed the 4-week program, and the transformation has been incredible. Not only did he learn so much, but we also learned how to better communicate with him and continue reinforcing everything at home. Scotty and Steven were absolutely amazing during our one-on-one sessions. They took the time to explain the "why" behind the training, answered every question we had, and made us feel confident every step of the way. The entire team was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about Rex's success. If you're looking for trainers who truly invest in both you and your dog, I can't recommend 203K9 enough. We're so grateful for everything they did for Rex!

What stood out to me from the very beginning was how straight they were with us. No overpromising, no “he’ll be a different dog in two weeks.” They told us what the work would look like, what would be realistic, and what would still need managing in a forever home long after the program ended. In a field full of people who will tell a desperate rescuer whatever they want to hear, that honesty was worth everything. Then they did the work. Ace went through board-and-train and came out a dog with structure, boundaries, and a real shot at a family. They didn’t just train him — they built a plan that a future adopter could actually follow, and they made sure the humans around him knew how to hold up their end. That’s the part people miss. Anyone can manage a dog in a controlled facility. Setting a dog up to succeed after he leaves is a different skill entirely. They stayed available. They answered questions. They treated a shelter Husky nobody wanted like he was worth the effort — because he was. Ace is alive because a lot of people refused to give up on him, and 203K9 is a big reason there was something to not give up on. If you have a dog with serious behavioral challenges — the ki

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! They cared for my dog all summer and boarded her for four full weeks, and the experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Leaving your dog for that long is never easy, but they made the entire process completely stress-free and reassuring. The staff truly treats the dogs like family — not just pets. A special thank you to José, who was such an amazing trainer and clearly has a true gift with dogs. His care, attention, and dedication really stood out. I received regular updates, photos, and thoughtful little notes about how she was doing, which meant the world to me. It was clear she was getting plenty of attention, exercise, and love every single day. When I picked her up, she was happy, healthy, and so clearly well cared for. She almost seemed like she didn’t want to leave — which says everything! Her routine was maintained, she was clean and well-groomed, and she came home relaxed and content. It’s such a gift to find a place you can fully trust with your dog, especially for an extended stay. I would recommend them to anyone looking for boarding or long-term care. They truly go above and beyond, and I’m so grate

We did a two-week board and train with our dog Cooper at 203K9 and it has truly changed our lives. Cooper was reactive with people entering our home and didn’t know even the basics like sit or lay down (we tried but couldn’t teach him ourselves). After his training, he has made a complete 180. When people enter our house, he no longer rushes up to them aggressively. He now know to go to his 'place' until he can calm down and interact with our guests. We worked with Scott, who was fantastic – attentive, patient, and quick to see the good nature in Cooper and harness it. Thanks to him, we now have the tools to manage Cooper’s reactivity, and his new obedience and confidence have transformed our day-to-day life for the better. Highly recommend 203K9 and Scott to anyone looking to help their pup reach their full potential!
